Such podcast are usually better than youtube videos for me trading altcoins and hodling big ones like bitcoin and ethereum is good choice because altcoins are very risky for the long term so I would use them to increase my btc and eth holdings.  

Yes, altcoins or tokens from an ICO is not good for a long term once the pump and dump scheme is done. You'll get a little of profit from it if you want to hold it in a long term. But, there are techniques too that can let you earn some profit even if the market are declining but you gotta have to learn them in a hard way though because it requires a lot of patience and a lot of money.

It’s up to you, if you have big investment then you should invest in bitcoin and if you have small investment then you can invest in Ethereum or any other Altcoin. The problem is money and not the currency. Both are good for future earnings. Trade needs experience and if you have experience then it is far better than holding. This time is for buying and not for selling.

Yeah you are right that trading is not easy and you will have to get all necessary skills and knowledge about crypto trading to make money. If you have no trading experience then holding is better because it needs no experience. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the top currencies of the world and mostly people put their money in these two big currencies.
