CENTcoin wallet is slow and not showing transactions

Hi all,

I'm trying out a few other currencies.  I ran into a problem and I hope the community might have a suggestion.

I installed the CENTcoin wallet.  The first time I opened the wallet, it took a long time as expected since it had to sync for the first time.  But now even if I close it and open it a minute later, it still takes an hour or so to open.  Also, someone sent me a transaction that is still not showing after more than a day.  He sent me the transaction info also.....

Has anyone else had a problem with their wallet?
