Building P2P exchange and want thoughts on current P2P systems

I work at Link Coin, a P2P exchange based in Toronto, Canada. P2P platforms were supposed to be built with the community in mind, yet far too often are corners cut, and features and security are lacking. Your opinion is invaluable as we try to build a new and better exchange. So any AND ALL opinions on whats wrong with current P2P systems, and improvements you want to see on upcoming P2P platforms is hugely beneficial. Please post any and all ideas & opinions here. That, in a word, sums up the current state of problems with p2p exchanges.

You are most likely breaking the laws of whatever country you exist in, just by doing business on one. What licensing do these users have?
And even if you aren't, it would be very easy to claim that you are doing so.

And maybe others want to go through the court systems for a decade, trying to prove their innocence, but I sure as heck don't.

You want to fix this? Figure out a way to have your users legally protected, and fully licensed, or somehow kept from being at risk from overinvolved governments.

If you can keep the feds out, the money will come in.
