Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

It's surprising the Blockchain app survived this long.

And yeah, hard to understand why people still use Apple products.

I'm also surprised it lasted this long.

Apple really shooting themselves in the foot with constantly being so closed while competitors (think android) are more and more open. They've already lost so much market share to android , you would think they would stop giving people more reasons to move to an android device.

Is a simple explanation or public statement too much to ask? Apple ought to at least address the issue. But I suppose in the fine print of putting anything on their AppStore it states that they have the final/indisputable word.

Damn. Happy long time Android user but this is still hard to swallow.

I've had every apple phone from the very first one.

I will be returning my 5S and getting an Android this week.

Enough is enough.  Steve Jobs is gone.  iOS7 is a painful reminder of that.

Apple will go downhill in the coming years.  The afterglow of Jobs success will remain for awhile, but down is where they're going.

Also quite sick of this attitude of Apple's. I've owned iPhones for over 6 years now and Apple computers much longer. But my next phone will likely be an Android.

You will stop using Apple products, if you have a brain.
This is a ridiculous move.

I have considered on more than one occasion to sell short Apple's stock; however I have found going long BTC to be a much better trading strategy. In a few years Apple may rue the day they censored Bitcoin, just wait. Who knows they may be a some very wealthy Bitcoin early adopters who might find selling Apple's stock short to be a profitable trading strategy.  Wink

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

Why anyone buys their products is beyond me. I put them right there with that overpriced stereo company. Remarket the same one off products and part specific super governed yadda yaddas to the masses. Now they think we are dumb enough to buy a watch with the same crap on it.

Here is a little conspiracy theory:

I bet Apple is designing their own wallet.  They seen the patent requests from Google and they can not be outdone.  Do the math.
