You want less fees? - You want a stable currency? - You want a fair distribution of raised funds? - You want anonymous transactions and communication? - You want so much more that doesn't fit in this line and will look crappy when writing it down because it will just be so much? - JOIN RADIX!

I downloaded, installed and then got emus from the faucet. It all seems to be working fine.

Chat works (it's buggy), transactions work.  Someone needs to define a default chat channel though.

Is this generally considered safe to install on your main box, or should I play it safe and use VM?

I dont know about safety issues from the earlier betas, so I guess you dont need a vm.

There will be an update of the OB1 within the next hours/days. Check the website or emunie forum for any news. Basically the update will solve some connection issues some people had.

Of course you can use it on a vm, if you dont trust it. Noone of the beta testers had any security problems though.
@btc wizard: Did you try the client yourself and had any security issues?

If youre interested in getting some information to update yourself on how it is for real, your welcome to join the emunie forum. Otherwise you better stay here and keep talking about things you dont really have a clue about. Lets see who laughs in a couple month. :-) (I do already).
