I personally am boycotting Apple. The last few years their products have done nothing but enrage me and my wife as they have bungled the fine balance between ease-of-use and only-for-the-stupid.

I have been a slave to their ecosystem because of my music and purchased apps for far too long.

I saw a post for someone selling their Apple ID, I will be looking to see what someone will pay for my ten years of music and apps...

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I have never used any of their products. So there is no need for any new boycott.

I stayed away from Apple products for years and this reminds me why. Now started looking for alternatives to my iPhone.

Mark Zuckerberg is trying to understand Bitcoin in Budapest, Hungary.

Jeff Bezos dreams of a day when payment will be made in Bitcoin and delivery in Drone.

Sad Apple does not have Steve Jobs anymore.

I wish Satya Nadella also understands the Bitcoin economy.

I've been waiting patiently for an iPhone with a larger screen.

Love Windows Phone but the app selection sucks (and apps that do exist - e.g. Spotify - are generally inferior to the iOS and Android versions).

Android is great but, much to my surprise, I prefer the simplified user experience of WP. With Android I find myself tinkering for hours and hours, downloading all sorts of apps, and it really bugs me that apps seem to leave all manner of files and folders behind after you delete them. Maybe the same is true for iOS and WP, but at least I can't see it!

iOS doesn't have live tiles/widgets but it has pretty much everything else. I would buy an iPhone for XCOM if it wasn't for the stupidly small screen.

That was before Apple decided to ban Bitcoin apps. It's really poor form and it has lost Apple at least one sale!

Made the switch to Android a couple years ago. Never looked back.

Hopefully they bring the blockchain.info  app back,  they've removed it in the past and then allowed it again. Hopefully it's the same this time around.

I got an android phone about 2 months ago because Apple has been doing this sorta thing.

I had been using apple products for like 5 years, but had to make the move.

I do miss the responsiveness of an iphone.  I find android phones are a tad slow.

Customisability and a huge range of bitcoin apps available was a HUGE reason to change tho.

you know it's bad when iOS is being called the most insecure OS by every security firm out there.

even the NSA brags about exploiting it.

so much for the bullshit blowharding by the fanbois for decades.

It's very unfortunate that the control on the app store and the iPhone is so strong and unpredictable.
Their hardware is very nice and I was a proud owner of a MacBook once.

The next step will be locking down OS X computers where the move to the app store has already begin.

I've had every iteration of iPhone since it was released with the exception of the iPhone 5...

I started with the iPhone and just never switched away. I always jailbreak because I can't stand Apple's insane restrictions...

I've decided that my next phone will not be an iPhone unless they adopt Bitcoin... I won't shop on Amazon any more either until they integrate Bitcoin payments.

I'm a reluctant iOS user. I don't love it, but I like it a lot more than anything else out there. Tried several Android devices (currently own a GalaxyS4) and hated them all.

I want something more open. I'm really waiting for some Linux phone that will bring the open-source mentality to the mobile market. The openness is what I thought I would get with Android (compared to iOS), but I'm finding just the opposite. Android is every bit as locked down as iOS, though maybe not in the Bitcoin segment, and the experience isn't nearly as smooth as iOS for me.

I'm wondering, does anyone have any experience with the Ubuntu phone stuff?

Also, are there any Bitcoin wallets that will work on a jailbroken iOS device?
