After successfully completing the installation of the Ledger Nano S, it is time to transfer our coins to this device. How can we do this?

First, connect the Ledger Nano S to a computer and enter it with a password.

Then open the Ledger Wallet Bitcoin application and then apply Bitcoin over the device with the help of the keys.

When both keys on the device are pressed at the same time, Bitcoin is entered into the wallet. Bitcoin transfer can now be performed through the application.

It is possible to send from send part and receive from receive part. After the first installation, the Receive section is used to transfer Bitcoins in other accounts to the wallet.

The Ledger Nano S must be approved for transmission from another device when sending a bitcoin or a subcode.

Ledger Nano S Bitcoin transfer is done in this way. The same way can be followed for the transfer of other coins. Simply download the application of Coin you want to use from Ledger's official website.

I think it will be useful. I hope you like it and support it.

I don't know why you have to write this article. Mainly because ledger already explains how to use this and has solutions to most of the problems too. And this is too basic. The only person who will actually find it useful is a total newbie who doesn't even know what a ledger nano is. Also you didn't explain anything about the ledger manager or how the bitcoin app is installed. You have provided half baked information.

Don't take this the wrong way though.  Smiley I hope you can come with better useful information. Good luck.

It would be easier for me to see a visual of the process. (like with screen shots)

I plan to buy a ledger device soon and like most things in the blockchain world, it takes me a few tries to first understand.

Use this guide from Ledger's support page: https://support.ledgerwallet.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000617934-How-to-send-and-receive-cryptocurrencies-using-the-Ledger-Nano-S

In tandem with the guide provided above, use this picture guide: https://coinsutra.com/send-bitcoin-ledger-nano-s-wallet/

Using them both should help you. Cheers!

Mint,

I have my ledger nano S but am stuck.

In the pictoral you provided, I am stuck before step #3.

My Ledger Wallet Bitcoin app screen stays as seen in Step #1.

In other words, the app does not open up.

I have been trying to figure this out for a while now.

Any help? Anybody?  Should I reset the Ledger device and start over? Huh

Leave it up to a Noob like me to not be able to figure out the simplest device in all of the blockchain world!

Change your USB port and/or cable and try again.

Is your Ledger unlocked? Did you insert the pin code and selected the BTC app?

Ninja, yes I unlocked my Ledger with a code and it's plugged into my USB port.

I've tried it with both of my USB ports and it does not launch the app...

Also I check that my USB ports work with a thumb drive.

Maybe it is the USB cable provided with the Ledger?
