Hey everyone! I'm always intrigued about how fast the blockchain space moves.  One particular project that is really showing a lot of promise is MATRIX AI NETWORK (MAN). Even though its mainnet wont be until December, it is already among the top performers in the transactions per second race. Of course scalability isn't only about Tx/s, it is still however an important focal point in scalability. In case you didn't know, MATRIX AI is aiming for 1 million transactions per second, currently its first generation prototype clocked in at 50,000 tx/s. This figure is quite impressive despite being in its infancy.
To get a better idea on how this stacks up against other projects, check out this list I complied.

Current approximate tx/s standings as of May 2018:
MAN=50,000 tx on prototype (1 million tx in near future)
HPB=30,000tx
NEO=10,000tx
NANO(DAG)=7000+ ish tx (variable)
Ziliqa=2500 ish tx
Ripple=1500+ tx
ICON TheLoop=9000 tx (theoretical expected amount in future)
Waves=100 tx
QTUM=70tx
Neblio=20–35 tx
Lisk=16–25 tx
Etheruem=15 ish tx
Wanchain=15 ish tx
Aion=11tx
Cardano=7tx
ARK=5tx
IOTA (DAG)=variable        *These figures are subject to change and serves as general approximate ranges.

What do you guys think?

Credits claims to have achieved 400k+ TPS already and there mainnet should be released in the next month with the goal of reaching 1m+ tps but it gets very little recognition. It didn't even make your list.

Fair point. I'll check to see if these claims are on their github or somewhere. I am trying to mention the more popular projects on the list. there are of course other blockchains out their claiming different figures. I'll be sure to take a look at Credits. Thanks for the feedback!

Prototype or testnet speed of blockchain is not an indicator because expectations from test conditions may differ from the application in reality unfortunately.

True! I am however just pointing out the current level of performance Matrix AI network is performing at currently for its first gen prototype. If it proves these numbers and more in the future after main net, it will be a serious contender no doubt. Secondly, I also just wanted to show how it currently performs against other well known projects. We'll see how things turn up in the near future!
