The authorities in EOS (ECAF which goes for EOS Core Arbitration Forum) just instructed the block producers to censor transactions from 27 accounts with no reasons given. “The logic and reasoning for this order will be posted at a later date"

So they basically have replaced Ben Bernankle and whoever is running the FED now (I don't even pay attention to that anymore, I think it's Powell now after Yellen left) and they have so called arbitrages calling all the shots. If they don't like a certain transaction they can censor it. Why even bother with adding the cost of keeping a blockchain alive when you are going to do what the legacy system does, which is already all digitalized anyway? This is why I find 99% of altcoins simply dumb, I cannot see a clear point in them, the projects are trying to solve problems which aren't even problems as far as im concerned.

Well the news is that EOS blocked producers to censor transactions from 27 accounts. They said the reasons and logics will be posted later. Many customers are protesting that it is not appealing due to the reason that it is aginst the rules of EOS.

I think it’s a good news for them. Because they get the censorship. It helps them to move up. Now wait and see what will happen.

The blocking of accounts have taken place before too. This has been done on the sole purpose of protecting the users’ money, to prevent it from being hacked, the moment they see if something looks out of place or raises suspicion. Protecting their name is important too in crypto currency’s world.

Do we really need another thread about this or can't we stick to one of those already discussing the topic?

21 Block producer of EOS can freeze anyone's account
