Maybe with some cryto coin/token but I think most follow bitcoins flow.

I have HODL a lot of coins/tokens ever since September and most of them follow what happens to bitcoin. So I think it's basically bad to HODL when bitcoin is falling down badly.

Well if the price is dropping that actually means that there are more people selling than buying, or maybe we can't really make comments related to the number of people buying and selling, but we do know that we have a larger volume of sells compared to the volume of people buying in. So in theory, it would mean that crypto would be getting weaker.

I do believe that crypto is actually getting stronger with each drop, but for a different reason. I think that the weak hands that were holding crypto are leaving the space, and the ones that are buying now, will be less likely to sell it in the future, simply because that i they are buying when the price is dropping, they are doing it because they believe in it's fundamentals and are probably planning on holding it long term.

You have mixed that up bro, when a market is in a sell out state, it will only tend to the over sold region, which brings the buying opportunity and not overbought as you have stated. You are right, as this is more of a chance for those who want to enter a long position in any coin or token of their choice based on the long term prospect to start doing so, which makes me agree that it is more like creating advantage for anyone who is smart, but quite unfortunate that we have few of those, except for those who love whining during periods like this.

I doubt if there is overbought condition right now.

Market supply is outweighing the demand at this moment. Because of the last year Q4 price rise, investors are beginning to believe that those levels are not going to reach again. You must have noticed that currently coins aren't getting affected by the project development and news release much. You can take example of Tron. It has mainnet release coming and along with that made many recent partnerships. But price isn't showing any significant increase. This means that investors are losing believe from HODL and hence, supply is hanging with less demand.

This is definitely not an overbought condition.

I think you meant oversold not overbought. Current market is oversold big time but there should be shift in the future.

I don't, you can see that how the volume of every coin has been dropping a lot due to the bearish trend. This can become another bad thing. they are accumulating more coin but remember that gives a lot of impact to the market too. Just like more newcomers are feeling disbelief about that

So you mean that there are some whale people behind this scenario? Well, that was also in my mind that those weak holders easy to panic and sell their holding crypto. I don't believe that each drop cryptocurrencies are getting stronger, that is made those lazy holders panicking in the middle of down trend.
As I have noticed when bitcoin will drop those altcoins will follow so the main reason of dropping in crypto will depend on bitcoin price, more demand in bitcoin to the market it means more people selling.
