Nope, no sudden magic happened. Restarted PC, redownloaded wallet, deleted Suncoin folder in appdata, still blank and not responding.

Do you mean slow to mine?   That seems to be by design and we are all in the same boat.   I think that is an advantage.   If you get 1000 SUN coins it might be worth something.    You are already mining 5000+ coins a day, 4x the next person.

Yes there are plans to make the coin to raise and yes its hard to mine - it was designed to have value even tho there is many coins to come.
We just need a bit more support and this week we will start doing our best to bring it to markets and run everything that was missing.
