Expected Bitcoin Price Growth In 2019??

Why expect it next year when we are just in the half of this 2018, last year price same month was $2k plus and it spiked August till the mid of December but the current price in the present is fluctuating around $6k, losses are too much but there's a possibility to achieve that price again or even more this year, we can witness the lowest point of price this year but the good thing with crypto is you can speculate and expect also the reverse things.

I agree with you buddy.My expected price in mid 2019 is same 30000$.Many had expected the price will cross 25k$ by the end of last year.But due to some regulations in some country,the price of bitcoin is reduced some time and attain stable at sometime.Now the price 6100$,So I think 30,000$ raise is maximum.

   Alex M has a point, it`s to early to speculate about next year. Bitcoin is changing price everyday, we don`t know
the price in the end of this year, what more to say about next year.
   When I read about predictions for future I like to see arguments, some researches, I like to see effort from predictor,
any kind of effort and on what he build his prediction. I read so many of them, from very optimistic to totally pessimistic,
based on science, numbers, history, conspiracy theory, individual feeling, and so on. Creator of this thread just picked

The more lower it goes the chance of jumping upward is growing. Prices are subject to speculation which root of all evil. Let's dont compare the latest drops to current dump because this is the first time in the history mainstream are talking about cryptocurrencies.

what price we see next year will depend a lot on what happens this year.
for instance if the manipulation continues and it forces the traders who got out to stay out then we will have a much longer down time with more drops and less profit for everyone including those shorting bitcoin. and eventually the price in 2019 can not be that high either and it will take a much longer time for that money that got out to come back in and recovery to take place.

on the other hand if the manipulation stops OR if the market fights back instead of just giving in, then we can see the recovery happen as the manipulative sell pressure is lifted and 2019 price can be a lot higher because the recovery started soon and it would take a short time.

yes I really read the forums and blogs and analysts with good news on bitcoin price rise in 2019 even though they say it hit 20k and I heard this news I did really hope to invest in bitcoin .

2018 is not yet done it's too hard to predict an opinion if this is not end of the year. If bitcoin price this year surpass the last year how much more for incoming 2019.

January 1, 2019 my expected price of bitcoin ranges from $13,000 - $15,000. I think the hard drop in price has taught a lesson so it will be difficult to pay above that range for 1BTC.

The next halving is in 2020 if im not mistaken, so we are going to see a new ATH during 2019 most likely, and the bull market will continue towards the next halving. It's obviously accumulation season. It doesn't matter if you accumulate at $6000 or $1000, just buy, it will be much higher in the next season, there's no point in risking ideal entry points that only exist in our heads, it's time to act now and that means it's time to buy as much as possible monthly.

I actually don't think that we'll see a new all time high in 2019.

It doesn't seem likely that a bull market would be able to emerge out of the waters by mid-2019, which is what you're predicting here. The last major BTC bear market took much longer than just a single year to consolidate and reach a new all time high.

Yes, institutional investors are in right now, and markets are more mature, but I just don't think that we'll see much bullish activity in 2019 at all. It's just not enough time for consolidation, imo. We haven't even found the bottom of this bear market yet.

It's much more likely that we'll see some signs of recovery in mid to late 2019, but there won't be anything close to 2017's heated markets. 2020 is an interesting year to watch though, due to the halving that may bring back some bullish sentiments.

Maybe this year is not a great year for bitcoin but I think next year we will recover for this down situation. I don't say any price because we can say what will be the next price price next year.

We won't know until the time comes, anything can still happen but if we compare the charts last year to this year we can assume a slightly predictions. $30k is not impossible that's why I decided to just hold my coins and until the price recover

Making expectations and speculations should be backed up with theories , analysis or at least news for upcoming partnerships , exchanges or companies adopting bitcoin as a payment method , and not just any company but those who could actually make a change .
Sadly many people make such declarations such as did John McAfee earlier this year , but such people are known of low key chilling some alts and their words are not to be taking seriously , we should stay away from both FOMO and FUD and just do what our guts tells us to do , but speculating without having it backed up by a solid arguments isn't something acceptable ..

I expect it'll be "crashing" to some kind of high five figure value after having spent a little time in a "bubble" of six figures and people will be calling it the death of bitcoin (yet again).

If you want a dollar figure, sure, I'll throw a meaningless guess in: $87654.32 after having hit an ATH in December 2018 of $123456.78.

As asual for sure all predictions will be useless again on that year, because whales always bathing in the market which is even there's possibility of growth rate to soar it will always fluctuate because of that cause .So i think no need to make early predictions for it which is for me as of now much better  to focus on the current situation of the market intead of expecting a value in the future.

Most of the cryptocurrency analyst today are expecting for the price of bitcoins to reach $50k dollars before the year ends so i think that bitcoins will have more than $30k dollar price in 2019.

the expectation of bitcoin prices in 2019 will not be more than $ 30k because I see there is currently no good news that could trigger a rise in bitcoin prices, bitcoin prices can go up when there is good news and it seems like it will happen sometime in the future.
