disgraceful!
even with 0 BTC balance I would never beg!

who's begging?

I will assume you are intelligent enough to see that for yourself - there is only 1 page plus a bit on page 2..?

Yep! The oldest trick in the book--use your nine-year-old nephew to garner bitcoins. Daddy Goat didn't raise no fool.

Y'all are jerks. I don't even have the password to his blockchain wallet. But whatever, I knew I'd get that reaction, I just didn't care, and wanted to share my joy. He was really excited to see that his picture was on bitcointalk and that people were talking about how cool it is for a 9-year-old to have his own bitcoins.

A properly secured wallet with bitcoin is in my opinion the safest, most secure, best all-around bet for holding wealth at this moment in history. Go ahead, call me crazy. They've been calling me crazy since 2013.

Just when I thought I've seen it all, along comes another one. When will it end? When will it end? I guess it'll never end, but at least I've learnt to read through most of them coming here and tricking us outta our precious. Well, buddy! I for one won't be tricked. And that goes double for you and your I-bet-that's-your-nephew.

I bet you expected somebody to just come along and double what you seeded your nephew's(?) account with, eh? Well, I'm here to show you a thing or two: https://blockchain.info/address/18eABNYAEdAk1e2TaGupgpk9NDGLHPuRBN

You just doubled what I seeded his account with, didn't you? Smiley nice guy

Nevermind the haters Harry.  It's a cool story.  I've set up a bitcoin wallet for my 5 year old niece and put in $20 worth each birthday and Christmas.  I plan on giving it to her when she's around 16-18 if Bitcoin makes it that far.  Who knows? At that point it might be enough to pay for some of her college.

And if he manages to keep these coins for sometime, oh boy..

I wish i had a btc wallet when i was 9.

I have 6 kids under the age of 10. They ALL have Bitcoin savings "accounts" at BlockChain. The two oldest (7 and 9) both ask me to check the Bitcoin price every night at bed time.

It amazes me how quick kids pick up tech. I'm a desktop application developer - increasingly feeling like a dinosaur Smiley

Well they will need money so it is needed to be interested Tongue

but IMO - when you are a kid there are better things to do than watching bitcoin charts Smiley

when I was 9 years old we were running on the hood and shooting from the sticks.

The Generation today are easily interested in the latest trend in technology....

But still reading children are interested in such things like  bitcoins is really fascinating
it piques my curiosity what the future might withhold..

well good for your nephew being interested in such thing...
It's a good head start for them for their future...

Is this a good thing that a 9 year old is into such a thing?

Do you think there will ever be an age limit on possessing or spending bitcoins?

When would you talk to your youngest child about bitcoin?

Me:  Yes.
Nephew: Do you have any?
Me:  Yes
Nephew: Give me some!
