Electricity power saver for cpu?

I found this site & the software it gives. Trojan, virus free & also free for non commercial purpose.
Since we all mining with electricity & i thought this may help to reduce some.
I just downloaded & using it for few hours & see no difference.

NTFS has its own built in encryption system based on your login key.  Oh crap.  I just checked a nearby Win7 Home Premium system.  Apparently, Microsoft decided not to give that to everybody.  Damn.  Well, if you've got Win7 Pro or Ultimate, it'll be in the file properties box under the advanced button.  Also, just an alternate suggestion: TrueCrypt is widely accepted in the security community.  It's open source for public scrutiny and still bulletproof.  Just remember that with any crypto software you use, the weakest link will almost absolutely be your password.  Just make sure you don't use a simple one.

I've personally disabled 3 of my 4 processors from the bios, turned off HT, and undervolted my i7 930 to 0.95v @ 2.8ghz to save some electricity. Normally it runs at 4.2ghz @ 1.27v.

I don't use the desktop other than mining, so there's no point in having all processors on even with speedstep. Might as just disable it from the bios and undervolt it. I might try a lower vcore, but I'm more about stability than trying to save another 10w.

I've only ever tried to go as low as 0.85v at 1.6 GHz, but that was with SpeedStep still on.  It might be able to go lower, but at those settings, 3.2 GHz was running at 1.15v.  I wasn't comfortable running less than that, since I actually use this system.
