http://www.scan.co.uk/info/bitcoinYou can now buy PC hardware and other things in the UK with bitcoin! I use this site for the vast majority of my hardware so this is fantastic news, kind of tempted to treat myself to a new graphics card

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

cool. It looks like they only ship domestically. Was hoping they'd ship Europe at least, but it doesn't look like it from the options when entering shipping address.

Great. I've been pestering their head of marketing over this for some months, he never got back but this is great news.

I particularly like the look of those miners, I might actually buy one if I ever have the money to spare to support the network and mine myself some coins

I think that was not the reason for the fall. gox probs are more likely.

Excellent news. Used them plenty of times in the passed. Fast delivery, no issues. Funny how the anti-bitcoin fanatics have fallen silent playing the old "Bitcoin is pointless because you can't spend it anywhere." card.

Can no one see this is why the drop happened?
It turns out 50% of the worlds bitcoin hodlers were actually the british!
We finally found something worthwhile to dump all our coins onto and crashed gox and every other poor fucker in our wake.
nah.

I think that was not the reason for the fall. gox probs are more likely. Yeah, don't think removing the BC app would've had that much of an impact. Then again, I'm surprised gox still does. Can no one see this is why the drop happened?
