https://bitebtc.com/

bitebtc is a newly launched exchanges that actively listing coin and take fee. but i heard many people cannot trade there since they will delay the "verification" process.

seems like the verification process and trying to see legit goverment rules the most strong reason of this exchanges selling. so the developer will list their coin there.

once the coin listed, no one or ive to say 1/1000 people only will get verify. the coin listed there only bot traded. most of coin only bot trading.not human trade there.

see here https://theicojournal.com/scam-bitebtc-exchange-makes-false-claims-rips-off-coins/

they launched massive airdrop to attract twitter follower. their BTC ann seems self moderated and can delete comment. twitter comment bad will deleted and blocked.

please avoid this exchanges for listing coin. they claim they are legit government law. please somebody from singapore check the license of what it claim.

My partner freely trade leads on BiteBTC, without limitations and problems. I heard that there are problems with the KYC process, but they are solved.

I never heard this exchange site before but you can check their announcement here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2791504.0 and here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3223743.0

And also. I found thread that this exchange site is scam here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4592558.new

What I noticed in the announcement thread is that almost newbies and low rank are posting in their announcement thread, so, for me it looks suspicious.

However, this site is listed on CMC here https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bitebtc/
so I think CMC don't want to link a scam exchange site.

Please tell me how long your friend has been verified? Did he go through this procedure the first time?

When I tried to search up more deeper they do have some volume on BTC and some altcoins but I cant easily entrust this new exchange but would really possible to have the chance to be used if they would just retain or sustain their current good service. Newbie forum poster or ANN doesn't mean that they aren't trustable enough some do just create out to announce but somehow it is really unavoidable to have doubts.
For now don't put up big amounts if we tend to trade on a new exchange.

It seems to me that if you are afraid to trust large amounts of money to this exchange, but still want to try trading, then you can start with small amounts.

You think correctly, but it seems to me that even small amounts to lose no one wants. Before you transfer money to the exchange, you need to go through KYC, if it happens to do, then you do not risk anything.

Just don't keep a large amount on small exchanges and you should be fine.  I've seen countless exchanges exit scam and claim to be hacked before.  It's one of the cardinal rules in crypto, you don't own your coins unless you own the private keys.

I haven't used this exchange myself but it's nearly impossible to keep track of all the new exchanges that are constantly popping up.

Yes, there can not be such a large cryptocurrency exchange by the Scam, I do not believe it. Of course there are problems, but they are solved.

I personally have not tested this exchange, but the number of trading pairs strikes me, you need to look better at this exchange.

Haven't tried it yet but heard that the kyc process is really slow. I would advise trading small until kyc is complete and then increase your trading amount afterwards

Why risk it? If you can wait until the administration of the exchange will check your documents, and then to trade on the exchange?

I also never heard of this trading platform. But since you mentioned about KYC, here's what they have to say,

Quote
Changes in KYC and AML Policy
11/07/2018
We are happy to inform that we managed to agree with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on simplifying the KYC and AML requirements for BiteBTC Exchange.

In particular, the KYC and AML verifications are required for trading with fiat currencies (USD) only.

While we can not announce the exact timing of the introduction of the new rules, but we are doing everything possible to have the new rules come into force in July 2018.

https://bitebtc.com/news/15

So they're enforcing it this month only so maybe that's where the problems lies. Perhaps they can't cope up with the KYC application so there's a delay. As for the fees (which is the first thing we look at for new exchanges).

Quote
(10) Is there a fee for using the BiteBTC service?
BiteBTC performs exchange transactions and charges a commission from each transaction. The commission amount depends on the type of currency, however, as a rule, it does not exceed 0.2% of the transaction amount.

https://bitebtc.com/faq

But the big question here is trust. Although is has been listed on CMC, but still I wouldn't risk anything on a new exchanges such as this one.

If I understood everything correctly, then just the KYC procedure is necessary for the safety of users, or am I wrong?

Different countries have different legislation, as biteBTC exchange is located in the legal zone of Singapore, it is subject to their law.
