Hello,
I have seen some people with choosen BTC address, at least the first letters. For example, satoshi dice has all their addresses starting with 1dice.......
How would you do that?

It is a "best practice" to use a new address for EVERY transaction. This reduces privacy issues and slightly increases security. As such, vanity addresses are generally a bad idea, since they encourage you to reuse the same address repeatedly.

Agree that it is not good to reuse addresses. But, someone may want to have a "fancy" address for tips and donations. |
