First off, I would like to emphasise that I am not accusing the above site of being a scam. However, I am beginning to be slightly concerned. 1 - I signed up and made a deposit 2 - I made a couple of bets, some won, some lost, everything worked as planned 3 - For the last week or two, I have been unable to log in. www.btcsportsbetting.com works, but then after I enter my username and password... nothing 4 - This is the same on two entirely different internet connections 5 - I therefore have a couple of bitcoins locked away that I am unable to access 6 - They have not replied to a question I asked them on their twitter account ( http://twitter.com/#!/BTCSportsbet ) 7 - They have not replied to emails I have sent enquiring at cs@btcsportsbetting.comAnybody else in the same boat?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

their twitter is @btcsportsbet but they are not affiliated with http://btcsportsbet.com which is a different service and has been around for a long time. btcsportsbetting.com's announcement thread has another report of problems: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=30327.0

Hold on. Let me go register btcdeadpool.org real quick. Too late. Site was already registered, established, took BTC and died. All within the time it took you to type out that post.

Just to clear it up (and thanks koin above) - BTCSportsBet.com has nothing to do with this, has been up since January (the dark ages of bitcoin) and everyone has been paid consistently with no problems.
So if you want a legit trusted sportsbook that has paid out thousands of BTC, try it out.

[SHAMELESS PLUG ALERT] Some days a site comes around that actually gives the community Bitcoin instead of stealing it

User: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=32369Doesn't look like they've logged on since September 11th. Would be a good idea for that user to pop on and calm fears right now. Can any board admins try and get a comment from them?

Not to throw stones, but this site is affiliated with Jazz/ABC Islands Sportsbook - currently rated D by SBR for non payment: 9/15/2011 04:32 PM JazzSports payout troubles JazzSports (SBR rating D) users report being owed $206,255. On August 4th, 2011, SportsbookReview reported that the slow-pay sportsbook told players that payments would be made during the beginning of the football season. To date, none of the players have confirmed payment. One of the players who is owed more than $100,000 posted today on SBRforum indicating that he has not received payment from JazzSports in over six months. The player also pointed out that he has been limited to $250 maximum wagers and placed on a 30-second delay at the sportsbook. JazzSports, which also operates LooseLines and abc Islands has been lowered from a sportsbook rating of D+ to D. SBR will update this report as players confirm payment or as more information becomes available. http://www.sportsbookreview.com/sbr/abc/caveat emptor

I am still using abcgrand.com for wagering as I have a little BTC still left in there. Has anyone been paid recently? Do many wager there?
