Well, if you read the thread you already know that Cheesy

Do note that first 7769 are part of Genesis block, which I never really figured out how to tap into, so they remain to Satoshi or whomever has the original Bitcoin genesis keys.

90% the pre-generated coins, blocks the rise in the price in future exchange markets.
You killed own the project as currency for speculation is still at start, i think.

You killed own the project as currency for speculation is still at start, i think.

You seem to be under impression that x-coin exchanges are affected by "potential" coins on the market, which is a strange idea that goes against both what happens on various alt-currency markets and what happens with bitcoin (which has a remarkable amount of "dormant" coins that don't move anywhere and are not traded, like, at all, and so far the fact that there is a fairly large proportion of overall of bitcoin count to date that is currently "sequestered" but hypothetically   might enter the exchanges when the stars are right is causing remarkably little panic and awe)

Are you, by chance, proponent of efficient market hypothesis (esp strong variety) ?

at the rate of generation of GG coin.... how long before this amount of pregened coins becomes mouse nuts (i.e. for example less than 3% of all in existence)?

Lolcust?

I think someone in the thread gave estimates of three months until the common mass of Geist outruns my little superfund.

What perplexes me most is the strange idea that 7 mils on an encrypted wallet .dat stored on a thumbdrive will affect the behavior of your average  speculative cointrader.

By that logic, "vanilla currencies" speculative traders should all be nearly infinitely terrified of all fiat currencies, because not only there are players who have large amount of that stuff readily available, but there are players that can make an arbitrary amount at, theoretically, a drop of a hat Smiley

How many are currently in existence?

About 401457 spread among miners and about 7769999 (slightly less, because I sent bounty to Cosicminer for a fanciful pic) in the (Laundry buffer + Bounty fund)

Has anyone checked the genesis block of Tenebrix?

As made quite apparent by the first post of Tenebrix thread, the existence of Tenebrix Protecshun Fun-d is not a secret (however, unlike other protecshun funds, this one does not involve "protechshun" "rackets" ;-) )

Tenebrix Protection Fund will go... That, usability/gui bounties, fixes and my dream of starting up a massive coin laundering "Historical Cryptocurrency Collector" Service.

So you state there is a fund, but how many coins does it have?

How many in brix to the nearest 1000?

Same number as in Geist, since I got quite bored of arguing about which number would be "best"
