I work at a small Canadian computer store and I am trying to convince my boss to overhaul our webstore to include GPUs and accept Bitcoin.  As one of the biggest hurdles Bitcoin faces right now is people NOT spending their coins, I figured this would give everyone a place to spend their BTC directly on computer equipment.

Just wanted to gauge interest before I pushed too hard.

If you offered competitive pricing in comparison to fiat currency counterparts, I would most certainly consider it. Shame I don't live in Canada, I guess.

Prices would be based on current market value of BTC.

Surely your boss would want something of a "safety margin"?

Yes, we were looking for one. We're aiming to develop a big mining company in Canada, but we're forced to use $CAN because there's no BTC shop in Canada (they are only in the US). The custom taxes prevent us from buying in the US. Last time we bought a GPU in the US, we had a surprise 35$ fee on it + taxes and all the shit going with it.

Do you have a website?

If this computer shop is Memory Express... I'm in as I already have a good relationship with the company (bought a bunch of GPUs from them for mining). I'm more interested in local as I'm in the Calgary area. I'd be more than happy to do business with them in BTC.
