Well I dont know exactly how many at one point but when I first learned about while playing my favorite mmorpg final fantasy 11 an online gamer gave me 5000 of them to play with, and explained to me how I can mine them with my PC. I was to busy with my whole gaming business I never really paid attention those BTC he gave me will never be in circulation unfortunately.

I was then re-introduced when they hit about $4 and at $4 I was kicking myself in the ass... Now that I seen $1200 I tend to try and forget it ever happened.

I still talk to the guy who gave them to me here and there and now play final fantasy 14 with him on occasion not the same crack addiction as 11 was however.

Almost 3000 BTC.

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

About 50 BTC but I gave about half away.

I given away more bitcoin than dollars (%) but that doesn't stop the hoarding articles.

After hearing some of these stories, I'm kinda glad I got in the game much later than many here... I'd be kicking myself so much if I had "lost" thousands of them.

If he gave you 5000 he must have had a lot. I wonder if he kept hold of them?

Once had about 1,100. Much less right now. Lost a bunch from ukyo.loan and weexchange and labcoin.  Sold 250 at $400 Sad. Wish I had waited another 2 weeks to sell, I would have an extra $150k from that sale. Also, now I'm facing a $40k tax bill, lol.

6500 (i own slush's pool).

even if i HAD a GPU i wouldn't mine at Slush's pool.

what u want to do is go solo.  then at least u have the guts and the glory (25 BTC potential prize)

foolish, sad, and disrespectful... slush has done more for the community than ten of you (pool, stratum, trezor etc).

lol @ paying taxes on Bitcoin gains.

Sell them for cash so there's no record of the transaction and you don't have to report it.

Lol yeah, because it's easy to find someone who will meet you in person to give you a hundred grand.

By the end of next month at the latest we will have permanently left behind 3 digits. You can quote me on this.
