Bitcoin Enhanced is a crypto-currency that enhances the value of Bitcoin by forecasting when its price is likely to fall.
How it works?
Bitcoin Enhanced tracks percentage change in Bitcoin prices until there is a signal that Bitcoin prices are likely to fall. Bitcoin Enhanced then simulates “shorting” Bitcoin, in effect betting that Bitcoin prices will fall. When the forecast period is over Bitcoin Enhanced simulates going “long” Bitcoin again and continues to track the percentage change in Bitcoin prices. The gain/loss of being short Bitcoin during the forecast period is expressed as a multiplier to the Bitcoin price.
Trustless Forecasts
A forecast for a period of falling prices is made before the period begins. The forecast is published on a time-stamped forum such as Facebook in an encrypted form. Once the forecast period is over the key is publically provided on the same forum so that the times of the forecast can be decrypted. This method of encryption/decryption on a public time stamped forum verifies that the forecast was genuine in that it was made before the event.
Secret Sauce
Bitcoin Enhanced creates value through its ability to successfully forecast periods when Bitcoin prices are likely to fall. It does this by using Phi/ Φ in greek, the irrational number 1.618…, also called the Golden Ratio or Golden Mean. Phi describes how systems develop. This is not only true of plants and animals, but also man-made systems such as a Boeing aircraft, the approval rating of Presidents and commodity prices.
