Yea true, but BTC is being used because its a legal way of purchasing such products,...
Um, no. BTC was originally used to buy drugs off the internet more than anything else - not legal in any sense of the word.
...I mean what other reason is there for BTC to be honest. I mean anonymity is only truely needed when you don't want others to know what you are up too.
Do you really have to ask? The reduction in fees and the lack of chargebacks are the only reasons merchants need to accept bitcoin, irregardless of the legality. Legality is only important to those who find it important. I will still use bitcoins if they're banned, and I will be more profitable than the guy who is worried about the legality.
I'm sure your first response is, "what good will your profits do you in jail?", which is a childish and naive response. Tell it to the thousands of people who sold drugs on the Silk Road and were never caught but made a ton of money. Oh right, you don't know who they are. Well, neither does law enforcement. Ha ha.
