When I think of currency the first that comes to mind is bitcoin and I think that the bitcoin will become the world currency in the future. It is been used for payment and services so it is a currency, though not all merchants and companies accepted it. It is started to get recognized globally.

bitcoin is outdated sometime it the future a new currency will rise just like bitcoin did the odds are not that bad 2009 to 2018 had 1300 new currency's i guess we can see another 1000 or so in the next 10 years or so?

When I look at this picture I see like the development of bitcoin currency. Although the new bitcoin but able to shift the currency that previously existed. Because bitcoin can play better than the existing currency long bitcoin

My interpretation about the image is the only people who can use bitcoin is the one who can buy smartphones so how about the poor people who cant afford to buy phones and dont have the knowledge about bitcoin in technical.

The picture is so impressive. If future is of crypto then I think the government will also involve in crypto. And govt. May issue their own crypto. It can give challenge to other.

I think yes, bitcoin has the opportunity to become a currency to help the deficiencies in fiat currency, because it can not be avoided in the future the world will continue to grow, all will be all digital and bitcoin is digital money that would be suitable for use in the world continues to grow with advanced technology and all-round digital ..

The Bitcoin at the end, should be replaced with a picture of a basket with a bunch of Alt coins/GovCoins. The governments of this world will never use Bitcoin as a reserve currency, because they cannot control it. They will either create their own GovCoin or they will take over a project from an existing Alt coin like Ripple or Ethereum, where the developers can be influenced.

Still a good representation of what will happen in the future.

When I think of currency of course what will come to my mind is about the fiat money that we use everyday to buy for our needs but in this picture its all about the evolution of payment system using mobile application and how fast it is to used this kind of transactions and I believe it will be more acceptable worldwide using this blockchain technology.

When I think of currency I think of what is legally and generally accepted as a medium of exchange for goods and services. Bitcoin will be use as medium of exchange in the future but it will take time because the ideology and concept was not initiated by government.

If that picture really came from IMF then it's obvious they are looking at bitcoin now. Look at the innovation, from fiat -> credit/debit --> digital currency/cryptocurrencies.

What a good picture and good news if the IMF accepted the fact that bitcoin can be used as currency but maybe it would be more years before it would happened but for the meantime this is great that blockchain technology are now accepted by almost merchants through payment system or payment transactions, it would be easy for us having transaction payments.

If governments and banks accept the use of cryptocurrency as a legal money,then I think IMF will also recognize it as a currency that can be use for payment and store of value.

Well at first, when I think of currency, the fiat currencies come first into my mind, but not that it ends. The new evolving digital currency always cross in my mind especially now the era is too different and we are now living in a world where almost everything around us is digital.

when think about currency, still only flat money is coming to my mind because in our country still the concept of virtual currency is new. But I hope this will be changed with the time. Digital revolution will took over currency and it will make people's life easy than the paper money. Hope that era will some soon
