Hi, I'm having some problems with tables.

What's the theory? What do I have to do?

As soon as you put words in first TD, its' borked

by words i mean "words with spaces" unlike "wordswithouspaces"

What's the proper way or is this just stupid bug?

also when you Preview, it looks fine, you Save - borked

There are many threads facing the problem with using tables.
One example now, i'll find more.

I see that the problem happens here in the first example too.

See the second link, there are no problems with the words.

Yeah I also find it quite hard to make the table look nice, the spacing always get messed up. Tried the below seems to be a little better:

Column1.................... | Column2
row 1, cell 1 | row 1, cell 2
row 2, cell 1 | row 2, cell 2

What I tried:
Code:

[table]
[tr]
[td] [b]Column 1....................[/b] [/td][td]|[/td]
[td] [b]Column 2[/b] [/td]
[/tr]
[tr]
[td] row 1, cell 1 [/td][td]|[/td]
[td] row 1, cell 2 [/td]
[/tr]
[tr]
[td] row 2, cell 1 [/td][td]|[/td]
[td] row 2, cell 2 [/td]
[/tr]
[/table]

Seriously, the first column is yuck
Why is this attitude?
Looking at your rank, it's clear that you are a newbie which means this is a new environment for you. Why not take some times to explore and learn before being sounding too stupid.
Seriously, you need to fix your attitude yuck

Here is my table I made for the one of my guides :

Code:
[center][table]
[tr][td][color=white]________________[/color][/td][td][color=white]_____________________[/color][/td][td][color=white]________________[/color][/td][/tr]
[tr][td][b]RANK [/b][/td]
[td][center][b]Activity[/b][/center][/td]
[td][center][b]Merit[/b][/center][/td]

[/tr]
[tr][td]Brand new[/td][td][center]0[/center][/td][td][center]0[/center][/td][/tr]
[tr][td]Newbie[/td][td][center]1[/center][/td][td][center]0[/center][/td][/tr]
[tr][td]Jr Member[/td][td][center]30[/center][/td][td][center]0[/center][/td][/tr]
[tr][td]Member[/td][td][center]60[/center][/td][td][center]10[/center][/td][/tr]
[tr][td]Full Member[/td][td][center]120[/center][/td][td][center]100[/center][/td][/tr]
[tr][td]Sr. Member[/td][td][center]240[/center][/td][td][center]250[/center][/td][/tr]
[tr][td]Hero Member[/td][td][center]480[/center][/td][td][center]500[/center][/td][/tr]
[tr][td]Legendary -[BR] [size=8pt]Random in the range[/size][/td][td][center]775-1030[/center][/td][td][center]1000[/center][/td][/tr][/table][/center]

You can change the color to the top "________________ "ones to the background color to hide them.

the result is here :

I've been trough this myself, struggling with this tables too when I started making my guides, It was easy just to copy someones work but I wanted to understand it. I know how pissed off one can be.. The guy is looking for help, so I tried to help despite his attitude. Helping someone is never a lost cause ... /well, if he is not trying to hide a body,tho/

I hope not - you are a newbie.  Not showing respect for those that came before you says a lot about your intentions here...

You don't respect the people that came before you, but you want us to trust you blindly?

You will not do well here.  :/
