Creating a new Max Coin adress and wallet?

I dont know if i screwed up someway. I am very new to this. I mined some Maxcoins directly to my adress I recieved by doing the "minerd getnewadress"

However I adjusted the config.bat file after this to mine from a pool and now it seems i cant check my balance anymore?

Anyway, is there a way to make a completely new wallet and adress that i can deposit my fund to? (the funds i have stored in a mining pool that is)

How did you even mine? There is no working windows wallet yet. Are they giving priority to mining first before launching a proper wallet?

They said they have released a windows wallet. I did not see any difference of it though from the first program they released (all in cmd window)

I have an adress to my wallet, but i dont know how to access it Can someone please help? Even to just create a compeltely new wallet so i can at least put my new funds in it.. Or could you store your coins in a big exchange site such as coins-e ?

open a command promt in the directory with maxcoin-qt.exe (in windows explorer press shift and right mouseclick - open console here)

type:
maxcoind

this starts the wallet

open a new command window and type:

maxcoind getbalance

you should see you balance

to send coins just type:

maxcoind sendtoaddress  (maxcoin adress)  (amount)

to speed it up with fee :

maxcoind sendtoaddress  (maxcoin adress) (amount) settxfee (littleamount)

for example you could donate me by:

maxcoind sendtoaddress maC8GmoR4Cdd4FQaYB1V3bLp3SR6WGXvTE 10.0

or

maxcoind sendtoaddress maC8GmoR4Cdd4FQaYB1V3bLp3SR6WGXvTE 10.0 settxfee 0.00001

So much trouble to access the wallet. Can't they develop a proper windows wallet.
