This is pretty much my first post here but I've been reading the forums for a while. Was looking for something to start mining and the antminers s1 and avalons were pretty much the only things available without waiting a few months for delivery. Sushi closed his group buy so I bought from johnny from in this thread. People freak about all these sites being scam sites so I didn't just run off and buy from any person posting. Johnny allowed purchase via paypal so I figure I was protected. He also had links to amazon and ebay where he was selling and well rated. Since johnny doesn't have a high post count here I thought I'd put up a a post saying I'm a customer who actually got his unit.
I'm currently getting an average 179.29 GH/s. Been running for about 12 hours now with no problems. The thing is a lot louder than I thought. The fan sounds like a jet engine.
Only thing that sucks is that since I went through paypal I paid 1800 for the unit and bitmain is now selling it for 1.45 btc.
At least you got your unit and its mining which is a lot more that can be said for some noobs.
