YES! This DESKTOP wallet is better than using a online wallet. ( if you have good virus guard in your computer)

You can reconnect to the wallet using your private key. so no harm if you saved your private key in safe place.

https://neo.org/client is the best source to choose your NEO wallet. I personally recommend using a desktop wallet like Neon or Aphelion wallet to store your NEO and NEP-5 tokens. The web wallets like Neotracker also good. But security is not enough than desktop wallets.

You can install it on your computer or on your mobile phones(iOS/Android). You will not lose your funds if ever your hard disk fails if you have backed up the private keys. So make sure to do so.

All you need to start is a public key to receive funds. I like to test different wallets first.
Backup your private key and later you can use different apps for the same wallet.

I think neo tracker is the best of wallet neo, I using it for Bounty, You also can use it. neotracker.io/wallet
Neo Tracker don't need fee to send token to other address of neo, Is a good Wallet, in my mind.
