In my opinion, you should research first the coin/project before deciding whether to join or not to join in an airdrop campaign. Because, it will be a waste of time once it turned out to be a scam. So, your question will not be applicable. But, once you have joined an airdrop and received the reward, you should check the status of the market and make a decision personally.

I will look at the project on the team, if they have the potential, then maybe I will hold the coins up to their growth, but if they are without profit, then there is no point in holding it!

This is a tricky question. It depends on that certain coin or token that will be airdropped. I could either sell it immediately before it dumps and buy again at a lower price then hodl or just sell it and never look back.

These days you can no longer get any good airdrops. Most of them are priceless while some are only around less than 5$ per received airdrop which is impractical to send in exchanges. About holding or being traded soon depends on your perception of the project but usually its better to trade it right away cause several dumpers will surely sell.

Just take a time to do research if there's any potency from free token/coin from airdrop, some have a good price, and the other just become an ashes at first time we get it. But for me, I'd like just sell it if the price is enough. No need to greedy

With this course ETH as it is now to sell any tokens for ridiculous prices, is simply unacceptable. It is better to wait for when the market recovers it will all merge for a pittance. In my opinion it is better to take a risk and potentially get a good profit than to sell everything for very little money. Patience friends and you will be well worth all your tokens.

Most airdrops are shitcoins if you hold that coin it will slowly decrease the value because some of them they don't want to hold, they gonna sell right away, it's rarely to get a potential altcoin in airdrop so better to sell your coins right away at least you earn extra money.

Whether you hold it or not profit is already yours because airdrop is the easiest way of earning tokens. But if you see the biggest potential of your tokens,  it is better to hold it to get the best opportunity that your token has.

free tokens and ICO tokens and generally anything that is released like that things become a little tricky for selling them.
the problem is that without an exception when people have said coins and suddenly find a way to sell them they WILL surely sell them and selling means the price will drop.
so the only logical thing to do in this case is to sell before others do and crash the price.

For now the market is falling, and if you get a free coin from airdrop it's better to hold it and wait for a stable market so you can get a better profit.

that is a fool proof strategy for new coins and ICO tokens. the first step is always a dumping step where prices go down drastically because everyone is dumping fast. but just like any other fast price change there will be correction follow-up where you can buy at the bottom and then sell again after the recovery and make another profit.
