Altcoins topics in the beginners section?

Are topics related to altcoins suppose to be in the beginners board? Jet cash posted a real interesting topic which offered a real opportunity to those that are newbies/jr members if they went into detail about their node setup yet its already been pushed to the 2nd page mostly from altcoin related shit

Should I report these topics?

I remember I saw this thread this morning and I even Merited it, because I liked the concept, You should report any thread that is not related to the section it is posted on, mods are really fast regarding this kind of behavior, but you can not really remove posts that are asking newbie questions regarding somethings related to altcoins it is kinda grey area, I just checked the first page and most of the threads seems legit maybe only one I am in doubt about .

p.s : If you found any threads that you think is not related to the section it posted in then for sure report it, without any asking

Beginners & Help - All primitive questions (to pros like us Cool) like "what are ASICS", "who is satoshi" and "what is mining" should stay here.

I would report them to be moved to ALT coin; but it depends on the question. This will be on a case by case basis as the what you consider a "primitive" question. Something like what is the difference between Shitcoin A and Shitcoin B, could probably stay there.


Most of them should probably be moved I would maybe PM "miningbuddy" and get their thoughts as they are the moderator.

When in doubt just report the post and then wait to see if your accuracy either falls or goes up/stays the same. My view is that as long as its not a simple question and is discussion about bounties or altcoins then it should be moved.

Should I report these topics?

The Beginners board has become a spam-fest of people searching for bounties or airdrops since the very moment they join the forum. You know, the classical "My friend told me I can make money in here, so I go directly to ask where is that money" mindset.
I think it is a reflection of, precisely, the mindset of most of the newbies joining nowadays, for the Beginners board seems like the one place to get into the most desired information they have.
Socially speaking, this is kind of interesting, for there you are able to see which ones are truly interested in the forum and which ones are just in their personal seek of earning some bucks by joining here.

Technically speaking, it strongly contaminates the Beginners forum, but most of the questions seem to be Beginners-legit-problem, for, as told, they only concern nowadays are bounties and airdrops.
Now, I always report any announcement in this board. Any airdrop, bounty, whatever, trying to announce their services in there, for they have their own board for that. But if it is a newbies question and all the newbies are likely most interested in bounties, what can we do?
