this is a great news now the bounty hunters can work again in facebook because past few weeks all repost in some bounty page will be mark as spam and no choice than to delete the post, this is a great opportunity to bounty hunter and to the ico too.

it sounds like genuinely awful news. more worthless crap for people to wade through that brings nothing worthwhile to the world. i presume most of these guys are just spamming at each other so there's no material gain for the projects themselves.

did the european central bank bribe itself an account to legendary and 1k merit?

this looks ridiculous.

no. it earned it by passing the account between its employees. all of them have to post on this account for half an hour once a week or they lose their pension and credit rating.

This is great new in crypto space I think the banning of crypto ads on facebook and also google will make people think that cryptocurrency is just a scam. With this reversal of crypto ban means a lot to the crypto people. Facebook just need to filter those scam ICO that will just ruin the name of cryptocurrency.

Good to know there has been a reconsideration on their ban on cryptocurrency/bitcoin ads. I did got banned about a month ago for 24hours on the Facebook platform just for the reposting I had made; even though I couldn't really pin point the exact post that caused the ban! All the social media platforms should have a fair regulations and not an outright ban as anticipated before now.

Great news and a very welcome first step to return to normality.

Of course that the scams should be filtered out, I don't think anybody would complain (except the scammers of course). I guess that this was expected from start.
And I agree that finding about an ICO if it's scam or not may not be easy, so their "admission" should come as a later step.

It is reasonable for Facebook to ban it but this is way better. There will be more chance to introduce bitcoin and other digital currency to people.

Who will judge? How can you determine that this ICO is created for the purpose of fraud? Can you do that? How will Facebook specialists do this? Every cryptocurrency user knows that all his investments have a large speculative component and are very risky. The duty of advertising is to introduce you to the project and risk assessment is your responsibility.

this is a good action,  because the scam project includes factors that can make the crypto market more damaged.

and I think the ICO based products and financial services that cause a lot of fraud and also harm the investor.

this is more like bad news rather than good one in my opinion.

first of all it proves that the ban had nothing to do with bitcoin price drop otherwise bitcoin should have risen above $7.5k because of this unban news. this proves yet again that this drop has been a pure manipulation

second of all it opened up way for the same scams to come back and continue their work on Facebook platform! so nothing is going to even change.

There is a FOMO brewing...

I wonder what their requirements are going to be like, would be a shame to see all those scam ico's back in the spotlight.

January ban was lifted but it was restricted only for the crypto ads which are pre-approved by Facebook and the deal is ICO's are still restricted to promote their own project so not all of them will be given the opportunity to advertise read the full article, I hope Facebook will truly refine those scams from legitimate platforms, frauds already incurred some damages to crypto.

The only thing they should have banned is ICO ads as those were the only projects that were turning out to be scams. I think they realized that crypto industry is too big and has a bright future and by banning it they are turning away from so much revenue they could be making from it instead of making nothing with it.

I think the trial time for bitcoin and crypto currency is coming to an end and that will mark the beginning of market booming. Very good news  indeed and I strongly believed that  all other countries that have partially ban crypto will reconsider and make bitcoin and other altcoin legal.
