The market for a long time for some reason does not react somehow to positive news, there were quite a few of them over the last month. But we all see how the market is falling and falling. When the news that Facebook was banned from advertising, the market immediately reacted. It's amazing.

Because market was never fallen because of the Facebook news. Thats the easy logic behind it. If Facebook was the main reason for its fall today then with this news coming on the way, people would have stated to jump right into the crypto and market prices might have started to plunge upwards.
There is no single correlation of the Facebook banning ads and current low market. The reasons are far stronger and straight wards. Three exchanger getting hacked, India banning the crypto withdrawal and hence rush selling of the Indian crypto market, FIFA on the run and much more other things.

First of all, facebook imposing their initial ban on cryptocurrency advertise on their platform a couple of months ago didn't have any meaningful effect on the market. And I believe that, now they have reversed their decision on crypto ads will also have no real impact on current trend of the market. Apart from a few newbies and weak hands, people that are in this sector for regular trading, investing won't be that much of affected by a social platform's decisions which sells/leaks its users personal data to other farms.

I think this is very unfair, when facebook announced to ban those ads there was huge fud and panic selling in the market but now that they have taken back their decision it has no positive effect no the market, there should have been some pump today atleast.

All they want is profit. No one can provide them better paid ads than ICOs. Though the direct ads of ICOs were banned on Facebok, many ICOs were using loopholes by not directly advertising their website but promoting their social sites and groups.

The ban didn't have any major impact on the market so why should we expect a spike in the prices now that they're reversing the ban? The only ones who care about this news are people who were waiting to promote crypto services, and dev teams who want to promote their shitcoins, the rest of the market simply doesn't care about this news, that's why there's no upward movement.

Yes they are reversing their ban on all cryptocurrency advertisements but they said that all should be vetted or examined first. Btw you should also include the source of this news because not all are aware of it yet. As there was no downward movement caused by the facebook ban, this news today may lead to the increase of trust again in the market and should help finishing the actual price correction then we expect a spike in the prices. Actually, btc and other cryptocurrencies are loosing not only value price but a great part of their marketcap which make inexpectable at what point this the market health will return again.

This is a good news. But on the other hand I am not expecting a rapid growth just because of this. I also don't believe that Facebook announcement before was the main reason of a huge drop on bitcoin. It was mainly due to many bad news on bitcoin adoption and facebook is just one of them that time.

The market is underestimate. I remember when that hacking issues of an exchange was circulated, the price of bitcoin suddenly fall and now I have heard that facebook allowed ceyprocurrencies advertisements but not ICO, still the price still dumping. Like people have already mentioned, Facebook banning the crypto ads wasn't the reason for the bear market. The announcement didn't really make any difference tbh.
The market is falling 'cause people are cashing out with a great loss after losing money with buying in December/beginning of January.

The initial crypto bubble has burst and now we have to see how the game continues - will we have this overall stagnation, crashing lower or will the normie money again start coming in commencing the bull market with it.

The main triggers of human behaviour are basic emotions, such as joy, anger, fear etc. I think that fear is stronger than joy, because if humans lacked it throughout the history, they wouldn't have survived. When people see bad news they see a threat to their prosperity, just like a wild animal used to be a threat to one's life. They react simultaneously by decreasing the risks to the minimum and thus causing the panic selling. J. Rawls wrote that rationality of people makes them choose to lessen the risks rather than increase potential profit. As now is the time for the latter, people are still behaving carefully, for they want to make sure they will not lose money if they buy cryptos now.
