Hey Guys,

I want tell you about a new site, the Crypto Collective

The Crypto Collective is a network of local Bitcoin events around the world! The site allows you to post, and find a variety of bitcoin related happenings where you live.

There are three categories where you can post a listing. Each category gives you a unique way to use Bitcoin on a local level.

Deadrops
A Deadrop is method of exchange whereby you can hide your Bitcoins, and sell the location to interested buyers.

Pop-Up Exchange
A Pop-Up Exchange is a Face-to-Face transaction of Bitcoins with members of your local Collective.

Local Services
This option allows you to exchange goods and services with members of your local Collective.

How it Works

The goal is to find creative new ways to use Bitcoins. I hope you guys check out the site and get into the spirit of the idea.

Have Fun!  Smiley

Wouldn't it make more sense to dead drop the dollars or gold and sell the location for coins? I mean how are you going to send the old money without linking the buyer and seller together anyway?

You could do it anyway you want. Leave the old money in the same place after pickup.

For me, the fun is in searching for Bitcoins. It's about the experience.

Ah, got it. I was thinking more like super-secret covert exchange stuff. I can see how those geocashing hunts are fun. And everything is better with Bitcoin.
