jes the marketcap and the social support could indeed be illusionary and faked.

people stil think its trustworthy and reliable however,

most traders dont use coinmarketcap anymore btw.

Your query is out of line. Marketcap isn't just related with whales, tether and so on...

Am just scared if Whales decide to convert Bitcoin to Fiat.

Just don't. Whales aren't a bunch of fools. They are just waiting for the perfect opportunity to buy and turn a corner.

Will Tether keep printing more Tether to circulation?.

Yes, they might. Nobody knows what their next move is.
But that's irrelevant to your previous query.

Afterall, if you think marketcap is a metric for tracking the total valuation of Bitcoin, then you're wrong.

I know whales are not fools...but selling a huge part of what they hold is a way to manupulate the market. Causing more downfall. And with my little knowlege i believe that it will get a point when tether printing will bring fake marketcap. That was my reason for this topic. A friend of mine said that cryptocurrency was a joke. Sincerely i couldn't argue it. I just smirked.

And who said that Tether is printing money out of thin air? Do you really believe that one professor who wrote about it? It was just his prediction, and for now he hasn't been able to prove it beyond reasonable doubt, just like tether hasn't been able to prove that it's 100% covered. To be honest I trust Binance more than I trust a single whistleblower. It's easy to pay off one dude to write an article. It's much harder to pay all your employees and people who are covering for you as a company to keep the scam going.

Your subject and the question you are asking does not goes together. For the coinmarketcap of bitcoins, NO it is not false. It illustrates the total of bitcoins in circulations and represents the real amount of bitcoins on the market.

then what do you think has been happening so far? and why did you just think about it now? do you think they are going to start now that we had a 70% drop?
what you need to know is that any manipulation also has its own power and will soon run out of. you can't manipulate the price from $20000 down to $1 there is  millions of other traders in the market too and they are also buying and selling bitcoin. at some point you reach a strong  resistance (which is most probably the $6000 that we saw tested 3 times and remain strong) that can not be broken so the reversal happens.

tether has nothing to do with market cap! 90% of the things you read about it online is pure bullshit created during the downtrend to create panic

Whales do not exist as a single unit. Can all whales decide to pull out their money all at once? That's impossible because investors would never have a single mind in any form of business. While you're deciding to sell low, someone is also ready to buy and hold and sell it at a higher price.

That's not what they are doing by the way. You still seem to be confused again.

Just look at the dominance charts and you'll know that the involvement has lost by many folds when compared to the bullish times.
Its more of a psychological approach of various FOMO investors when Bitcoin reached $20k. That's what fueled the bearish trend.

well market cap is based on facts and figures so in order to disprove that, one has to conduct careful research to be able to say that the marketcap of btc is actually true or false. But until a systematic research is done, there will be no valid argument about this topic.

If whales do convert bitcoin to fiat, there's nothing to be afraid of. Irrelevant to what you're talking about.

And yes, bitfinex will keep printing more tether, because they are shady as fuck.

Am just scared if Whales decide to convert Bitcoin to Fiat. Will Tether keep printing more Tether to circulation?.

CAN WE SAY THE MARKETCAP OF BITCOIN IS FALSE??

Tether print as much money people gave them.

I dont see a reason why any whale would convert their bitcoins to fiat at this point if they could exchange at double price not so long ago.

Yes the marketplace is false because 20% of Bitcoin s is lost so Bitcoins marketcap is 20% smaller.
