As we see the USD ($) as a point of reference and determiner of value for most national currencies on the international market, will bitcoin as the mother of cryptocurrency be the determiner and reference point for the value of other crypocurrencies with time. I have witness that all newly coins aspire to get to where bitcoin has gotten to and even beyond and it baffles my mind that for sure will there be a potential coin to by pass bitcoin and serve as a reference point.

of course it remains to this day, bitcoin remains the reference of all crypto that exists. this is great bitcoin
but what happens for the future we will never know for sure, and seeing from bitcoin track record from time to time, nothing can offset bitcoin.

In my own opinion, it is hard to predict what will happen in the future but there is a chance that bitcoin will be the point of reference of cryptocurrency because bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency so there is a chance that it will be the point of reference in the future.

For me, maybe bitcoin will be the point of reference of all cryptocurrencies because bitcoin is most commonly used cryptocurrency among all. Another thing is bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency in the world so there is a chance that it will be the point of reference.

For now and past, bitcoin is the point of reference for other crptyocurrencies. All other altcoins emerged by seeing existence of bitcoins. In future, no one knows whether bitcoin can be reference for other cryptocurrencies as new technology is developing day by day in this world of technology. Altcoins may be based on different improved technology. Whichever, cryptocurrnecy be reference point in future, bitcoin will be always remembered for being first cryptocurrency and bringing evolution in world of cryptocurrency.

Yes of course, bitcoin is the leading currency of the crypto market, which will always hold this position, and will really be a reference point for other cryptocurrencies, which we now notice though not so much as bitcoin starts its growth, the rest of the cryptocurrency begins grow after him

The USD comparison does not work here, because the reason the USD is used as a global reserve currency, differ from why

Bitcoin is seen as a "reference" currency. You know most other Alt coins was based on the Bitcoin concept.. right? The USD

was used as a global reserve currency, because it is backed by a strong first world economy and it is not very volatile.  Roll Eyes

Bitcoin will always be the mother of all other Alt coins, because it was the first real Crypto currency.  Grin

It was already seen from the beginning of the establishment of Bitcoin.
Many Altcoins are based on Bitcoin.

And like that a question like that doesn't need to be revealed.  Smiley Smiley
