Heatwave motivates fans to donate campaign in Blumenau
Devices collected will be delivered to charities.
So far, 40 have been received equipment; goal is to get 100.
The intense in recent weeks registered in Santa Catarina heat motivated staff of Blumenau , in the Itajaí Valley , to launch a donation campaign fans . The initiative aims to alleviate the discomfort caused by the high temperatures in the city charities .
The campaign has a similar to the initiatives carried out during the winter , when collecting coats goal. The job search by grants began on February 2 and till this Saturday ( 8 ) , 40 equipment had been donated . " We spend the day in a room with air conditioning , but we think the people who do not have as cool " tells the technical director of the company Valcania Tiberius Caesar .
The goal is to get at least 100 devices . Five social organizations of the city should benefit from the donations . One is the Blumenau Association of Assistance to Children ( ABAM ) , who has received seven fans . The general supervisor of the institution said that the donations came at the right time . " We were doing the budget to buy more equipment ."
