This one is easy bitcoin is not going to surpass the price of 20000 before the end of the year, it is as if people wanted the same that happened in the previous year to happen again and if the markets worked like that and were that predictable then everyone will make a lot of money, but things are not so simple and we are not going to see the market behaving like that again until a few years had passed.

I don't believe that those whales will ever be contented with $20k. I'm sure that they want to show that bitcoin will just grow bigger and bigger every year and to leave a great impression to everyone especially to big time investors. I believe that the price per bitcoin is going to be more than that as in the last year the price was $19k ath but if the bitcoin will reach mere &$20k at this year's end then it will contradict the growth of bitcoin which it has been showing from the past years where it grew more than 4 to 5 times each year. So form what I believe the price per bitcoin will be more than $40k by the end of 2018 and for the same i have been preparing from this market fall.

So thats the magic ball says?what about looking at the market now and maybe thay ball would throw in garbage can,theres no such price as $20,000 in the end of this year and it will be harder even to reach $10,000 because denial has been the major issue this year,bitcoin makes it harder to get even small value of growing like now just $7,000 couldn't get tp reality

There are corrections also. The price up and down as well. When there is a little bit increase one day, the other day we see dip again. For many weeks the price seems constant. $20k is big price and there are no more bumps in the price, so I think that it will not reach to that point. But it is cryptocurrency, anything can possible. May it reach to that level.

Well, I agree with the fact that things are not that simple when it comes to the market as a whole and the possibilities of seeing a huge bull run by the end of the year which could amount to $20k. However, anything is possible looking at how the market can behave and for the fact that we can't see the future. But for us to hit that huge amount will require us to have hit the bottom, consolidated for a while and then start a new uptrend which for now does not look like something we can expect to see an uptrend that would hit as much as that by the end of the year.

you are right. it is very difficult to reach a price of $ 20k by the end of the year. if bitcoin is potential for that price, then in the near future, the price should really reach $ 10k, or more. well, currently the bitcoin price does show a good rise, it's just not stable yet.

you are right. it is very difficult to reach a price of $ 20k by the end of the year. if bitcoin is potential for that price, then in the near future, the price should really reach $ 10k, or more. well, currently the bitcoin price does show a good rise, it's just not stable yet.

It is a July month so we do not predict anything on end of the year. Some good result was happen in suddenly so no one is judge the Crypto potential, I think end of the year we will expect more than 20k USD because August some good hype is possible so we should expect 20k but do not trust the Crypto hype.

No one knows for sure, with bitcoin prices in the future, because bitcoin prices can soar and also fall very low. But I think the price of 20k will be difficult to achieve in this year, and I'm more confident 20k will be achieved in 2019.

Bitcoin is probably the only coin that's actually being used as originally intended. People ignore how important its base currency function is when it comes to trading altcoins. Without Bitcoin this whole space would collapse because it would expose the true value of altcoins, which is pretty much nothing near current prices. All other coins are mainly being used for speculative purposes. If Ethereum for example didn't have so many tokens running on top of its platform there would be next to no use at all. The only reason Ethereum currently suffers from high fees is because of all the air drops and ICOs, not because Ethereum itself is that popular.

The whales can manipulate the market but they do not control it and that is a big difference, the whales cannot create demand, they can manipulate the supply of circulating coins at will and they could even set a floor for the price if they want but they cannot make new people and new money enter this market and that is what drives the price up.

Bitcoin had experienced a number of negative news due to increasing news tightening regulation of this digital money in various countries. Also a recurring hacking case. I dont think those countries can already operate immediately because even though they have already legalized the market of cryptocurrency in their countries they still need the adjustment period. Therefore I dont think the effectivity will be covered this year. If that happens, bitcoin will remain on its price. If not it may increase but not a big increase.

It seems to me that this forecast is based only on emotions. Now the situation on the market resembles the beginning of 2015. Graphs of movement of bitcoin prices are very similar. From which we can assume that no re-lifting of the price to the level of 20,000 in the near future will not be.

Not surprised. Most of the speculation on this thread as some people forecast what they technically do not even see possible is usually based on their own emotions and how they feel at that particular point in time. For now though, we are in a downtrend and the possibility of still going further downward is still there, and the only thing we can have is patience, which to me should be patience in buying the dips.

No one knows what will be happening eventually. But the way I am seeing things so far, we might as well just assume that bitcoin would be doing anything it pleases. $25k though would actually be a very good one if we peradventure get to see it by the end of the year at all. It is time to buckle up though and rather than trying to focus on the hard possibilities, I guess we should be looking forward to the buying of the dips.

It is hard to say what will be bitcoin value in December 2018. Many speculating that its price will rise and some will go down. But all we got to do is wait until what will happen next.

I think it is not possible because the price is still below $7000 and there are just 5 and a half months to go in this year and $20000 is very far. I don’t think that it will hit $20000 till the end of this year. For me if the price reaches to $12k it will be enough. I have invested for long time and will wait till the price reach to atleast $25k, then I will sell my holding.
