How to choose an ICO agency?

Recently I've asked some questions about how to choose a good ICO agency? And accidentally I found this great platform - https://moonrate.io/

It is just a list of all ICO-agencies with ratings, prices and so on, you can even a leave review on agency with which you've worked.

I think great initiative! And what do you think about the platform?

And where do you usually look for ICO agencies?

There are quite a few similar platforms: icorating.com, icobench.com, icodrops.com, icomarks.com, cryptorated.com, tokentops.com etc and each one of them is a pretty good sourse of useful information. I personally prefer icobench and icorating to others.

The platform your post is about can't be called "great" with all the will in the world. It's the worst ICO rating site I've seen so far. It contains no reviews, it shows highly questionable ratings and there's a statement in the FAQ that the verified list of ICO agencies can be found on moonrate ... Verified by whom?

The market of Crypto currency is not very much old. It is relatively new in comparison to others. So to find the real Ico agency is not so much easy. You can also follow some general rules. You can read the related article and also you can search in the Google regarding that. You can also ask the expert users.

There many useful sites with ICO ratings, but the site OP is referring to contains only links to various ICO official sites which are not from the best ones btw.  Most likely he's just promoting this newly created site and if you are not paid by moonrate then your post is a very strange looking one.

That's true and the same about ICO-agencies, before working with someone, you should check them and better to talk to their previous clients. But this platform can help at least on your first steps

I don't understand such a big opposition against the platform and this post. I just share a resource which seemed TO ME really useful, I'm not saying that you should unconditionally believe in their ratings, but at least you can find a list of many agencies (most popular ones, i've heard a lot about many of them before) and make your own research and decision after

Probably at best it is necessary to rely on the fact of experience with various projects, to be interested in people and developers with whom they worked when they came to success. I think that this is the most correct way

You know, you're right and I apologize for the initial hostility. If it is useful for you it might be useful for others too. Also, researching the site more thoroughly I came to conclusion that the list of ICO agencies presented on moonrate is not that bad as I thought from the first glance.

But, please, check at least first 20 links in the list before recommending site to anybody. For example the link to ForkLog Consulting (number 11 in the list) redirects you to very shady site and I got this warning:

Not a bad tool for layout. But this is not the only tool you noticed. But even despite expert advice and these tools, most projects fail. From my experience I can note, you need to choose it really careful and study all about ICO project which you want to invest in. For example, an experience of a team, a value of the project, uniqueness and then read some comments about it. If you need my recommendation, I can say you that you need to study about Kelvin Blockchain.

yes, it is now a lot of fake ico projects in circulation, this is very difficult for bounty hunter. indeed a lot of ico projects popping up but not many of them are successful in running ico. we must be more careful in choosing a good project.

Heard a lot of good stuff about Amazix which is why I decided to check it out and it seems legit in my opinion. I usually don't depend on ICO agencies and select ICOs through my own research, but Amazix seems like a good choice and my friends have also vouched for it. Do some research on various ICO agencies in google and don't trust ratings blindly. I usually focus more on the bounty managers when compared to other factors which helps in determining whether a particular ICO agency is legit or not.

Heard a lot about Amazix, guess these guys are real leaders of ICO agencies market.

No, you are wrong, Amazix team is merely a marketing team. I joined some projects when they are the manager bounty campaign, but many projects failed because that ICO is bad, not by them not worked hard. Marketing and rating an ICO project is different

To be honest, I do not think that you really need such an agency, although today on the forum you can find very large agencies that provide such services, but I will not advertise anyone.

There are a ton of ICOs out there, with every single one of them promising huge returns and useful perks for potential investors. In choosing an ICO Agency try consider that a typical project holding an ICO will have a website and a white paper, containing as much information about the project and its goals as possible.
