There are some time that we really experience bored in gambling OP because if you already know or you can really predict what can happen of course you will feel bored so that's why you ask where is the fun and if you already repeat the gambling again in again,Moreover you ask also that we really want to win for profit so for me that's the exciting and i don't really feel bored or negative about gambling because we can do it to relax our mind even risky then no one force you in that so just leave if you really don't like

Makes sense though, but there are a lot of other gamblers that really want to gamble online not because they don't want to socialize or "have fun" but they are just wanting to gamble anonymously or take gambling the efficient way. Most of the gamblers I know usually have a job everyday, instead of going to casinos, they just leave their laptops or PCs open with a BOT on online gambling sites betting their money. It is fun for them since they are seeing changes to their money every time they went home.

This thread is actually for those who have one way or the other mentioned on this section of the forum about catching fun in online gambling so as not to get addicted, which I am sure I am not the only person who must have come across this.

I totally understand that you can at least have some fun in real life casinos since there are people around you can gist with, you can even go with friends, there are other activities you get to lay your hands on etc, which can actually divert your attention from the impulse that comes with gambling and rather focus on the fun, instead of trying to win at all cost.

However, in online gambling, I really want to hear from those who said they can have fun doing so, which to me, it is more like virtually everyone gambling online is actually in it for the money. At least, I have gambled on freebitco.in dice few times, and I was bored as (whatever you want to fill in here), with the whole martingale strategy, that I had to look for a script to use while I just kept doing some other activities. Although, I know some platforms like cryptogames have a chat system where you can converse with other gamblers, but all these to me, still does not sound like fun compared to traditional level.

Please enlighten me just in case I am missing something here or do you share the same view?

People enjoy gambling online for the same reasons people like to play with the Wii and other similar entertainment systems, in theory it should be more fun to play golf or tennis in real life since you can get more benefits by doing the real thing than playing a video game, but the video game has many advantages, you can play from your home and while the investment in that console is big most of the time playing a sport in real life will be way more costly, this is the same with gambling, gambling online allows you to avoid traffic, in my country casinos are legal but those places are still full of people that look suspicious so you can avoid the risk of associating with those kind of people, games in online casinos are cheaper and faster, you do not have to tip, and there are probably several other advantages that online casinos have over their physical counterparts.

For myself, it's much more relaxing to play online.  I've had bad experiences visiting casinos, (filled with smoke, drunk people, rude staff).  I usually just get stressed out going to a casino with all those flashing lights and it makes me uneasy.  Betting online, I'm in a much calmer mood and can enjoy myself a lot more.

Online gambling offers the best privacy compared to offline casinos. It is true that you can meet new people and can be a bit distracted if those people are a bunch of good ones but you also have the possibility to meet bad people, cheaters and bad losers which can lead to a massive fight which can end badly.

Beside privacy playing online keeps you calm and you have a whole lot more time to analyse a bet if you are going to play a sport bet. Also you cannot be rushed easily when you are playing calmly and do the error addicted persons make to bet all in, you are more rational in your choices.

It just doesn't make sense  and i wonder why those people call it fun because i cannot loose out my money cheaply and be having fun while someone collects them and save in his bank account. Even if i have unlimited wealth i will still be critically accountable for about money.

It is the different perspective of people how they look at it. For many people playing in the casinos with such a huge setup and so lively crowd itself becomes the fun and enjoying those free beverages what does more people require. So even if they lose they should be fine with it if you play for fun.

You could also include the hype you get when gambling online. The hype automatically releases endorphines in our body which makes the person gambling feeling happy while doing so.

So what does it have that make it fun that people want to continue? I think the possibility of winning makes the people want to pursue it and just bet their own money and possibly have the most effective run with games when they study it. It's not good fun if you get addicted to it. we don't have to get that experience in online gambling, I am sure that we can enjoy playing the games. we can go to a cafe with our friends, we playing the game together, we can talk to the other in the chatroom and we can do another activity while we are playing online gambling. for people which don't know where is the fun of gambling games, maybe they need to try to play the games but they need to know about the risk before they played. and once they enjoy the games, I think they can get the answer the fun of online gambling

Honestly I have been asking this question to myself as well. Gambling on sports betting is still incredibly fun because I get to watch a game and have extra reasoning to favor one team or get more goals scored or whatever the bet was. I also like poker or something when I am gambling against other people which still gives me the chills whenever I do some crazy move. Yet, I feel like the fun of gambling against the house even though knowing house always wins seems not so much fun anymore.

Accepting gambling only for fun from the beginning may get you bored over time. But, accepting the losses and then convincing yourself for the losses as gambling is here for entertaining you, will be more fulfilled in my experience. I mean first target the profits and when you fail, search for fun among losses. That's it .

If the continue playing more they sadness will continue as well. If a gambler wants to stop this cycle of sadness they need to stop gambling then and there. The more they play the more chances of them losing money. The house edge will catch up to them and though initially it might seem that they are making money in the end they will lose more than they will win.

Honestly its relative. I never understood what is fun is losing money but I guess its the thrill of gambling that is referred to as "fun".
