This thread is actually for those who have one way or the other mentioned on this section of the forum about catching fun in online gambling so as not to get addicted, which I am sure I am not the only person who must have come across this.

I totally understand that you can at least have some fun in real life casinos since there are people around you can gist with, you can even go with friends, there are other activities you get to lay your hands on etc, which can actually divert your attention from the impulse that comes with gambling and rather focus on the fun, instead of trying to win at all cost.

However, in online gambling, I really want to hear from those who said they can have fun doing so, which to me, it is more like virtually everyone gambling online is actually in it for the money. At least, I have gambled on freebitco.in dice few times, and I was bored as (whatever you want to fill in here), with the whole martingale strategy, that I had to look for a script to use while I just kept doing some other activities. Although, I know some platforms like cryptogames have a chat system where you can converse with other gamblers, but all these to me, still does not sound like fun compared to traditional level.

Please enlighten me just in case I am missing something here or do you share the same view?

Reading from OP last post that gambling online cannot defeat traditional gambling from entertainment side but i think this is personal which mean fun or not during gambling depend on people hobbies themself and online gambling and traditional gambling have their own fans so if you thought gambling online bored but not necessarily other people will think so

Even if I want to withdraw that small amount, that will be still insufficient when it comes to transaction fee. Fun might be a way to divert your attention from thinking you are in it for the money, but from what the OP stated, I really find it strange if anyone catches any fun in front of their PC alone, playing dice. Where is really the fun in that? There are so many ways to catch fun which you can do by playing games and watching movie or at least, going to a live casino, but for an online gambling, we really do not need to start deceiving ourselves.

That fun aspect to me is over rated. Ask most people after losing from gambling, even with the fun, they get a little bit down. Now, it takes a lot of control to be able to wave such mindset and stick to the fact that you cannot get anything tangible from gambling unless you are lucky which is very rare.

Like Ultra elite said, it is all about controlling your urge, which means it, is not like the urge is not bound to come if you end up losing your guard. Greed is just certainly the main reason why a lot of people get themselves exposed to the negativity of gambling and nothing else.

The only fun is when you get a profit or you win in gambling, i think some game are entertaining but not totally fun yes they said that it is for fun but in the long run when they feel they starting to loose their capital i think their feeling will be change in gambling. When people said that it is for fun but still using his or her money to gamble I think they still have the desire, the hope that they could win a huge amount of money out of it, if not then they can just gamble playing poker games on android phones.

But people abuse the faucet trying to multiply it and they end making several faucet claims. Thats they the sites would try to restrict the faucet usage and ban those who abuse it. Once that there is an advantage to be taken, it can/will be abused just because of self-interest. Without them knowing what the real reason why they have faucets there. It's better to use your own, and as long as you maintain limits and be ready to accept losses.

Apparently people can still have fun even when they are losing. Do you ever wonder why people love going YOLO (as in betting their whole bankroll) before they end their day in the casino? It's because betting high in a high multiplier is fun. They imagine how would it be if they get to actually hit the win on that particular bet. It's definitely going to be amazing. High bets where you "almost" won gives you just as much dopamine rush as winning, maybe even more. In poker, when there's only 1 card left to be revealed and you're almost on Flush, you bet high. Even when the last card did not turn out to be what you needed, you still have had a great time on that moment. During crash games, when it crashed in front of your eyes just right before it hit the multiplier that you needed, it's fun as well.

You are right mate, having fun in gambling if you have earned a profit when you are in gambling that what you feel fun but if not I don't think so. Chasing money on gambling isn't worth it, you are probably in the wrong place or rather than invest your money into crypto than having a gambling which gives risk to your money and probably it will lose. Gambling in traditional and online gamblings are the same, you will get lost if you are not lucky enough, so if you are making fun find another way that's not involved money to be risked.

Big different is there in watching movie and playing gambling, in gambling every time you have expectation of making money from gambling which make it more attracted and having good fun there.

You may have big differences in acquiring entertainment between watching movies and gambling but I do not.
