hi all, i am new to bitcointalk registering from last month but I have been using this site for a couple years now. I wonder though, how many users here are on turtlecoin mining and what is the general consensus about this project. I for one am extremely excited for the upcoming smart contract implementation as well as turtle pay technology for vendors. I hope to someday use my turtle mined to save the sea turtles too as there are efforts to pay for sea turtle through charity mining events, real cool stuff my friends. cheers Smiley

It means that no one wants to buy TRTL on any of the exchanges (which, last I checked, was just TradeOgre, right?).

FWIW, I mined about 200k worth of TRTL a few months ago just for fun - as I suspect many others have done - and I definitely like the team's style, but crypto is in the grip of a savage bear market so projects need to stand out from the crowd just to survive, much less thrive.

That said, the TRTL Discord is about the friendliest/most hilarious I've come across, and sure puts the DERO one to shame (btw, I witnessed the incredible rudeness of --Serena-- towards RockSteady the other day; it forever degraded my opinion of DERO, which was already at an all-time low thanks to their about-face on CN ASICs).

Turtle is a good team, people mining it are good people.
Turtle coin amount of coin make it close to the 1 satoshi valuation no matter how you count it...

I have 200K turtle because.. you never know, but that's it

idk, the price is low now but could go up, also u have to factor in that it is  on 2 decimal places compared to btc so the total mineable supply of  trtls is less units than other coins

I don't think turtle coins worth anything at the moment. I mean not many are buying it. But every coin should be mined, because once the market starts flowing then all the coins will start moving forward and that time, it would be nice to have some alts so that you can trade and get some good profits.

That's definitely the impression I get from the ANN thread and a few visits to their Discord. Kind of refreshing, actually.

TRTL has no bids on BTC because they all moved to LTC.

https://tradeogre.com/exchange/LTC-TRTL

You can listen to the developer (one of them) on this podcast.

I mined a few hundred thousand and then stopped. Value wasn't going up and didn't see the point of holding a lot of them. So stopped mining them and started mining LOKI. Might mine LOKI for a while. My friend is still mining turtle coin. He mined around 10 million but then sold around 7 mil to buy something else. He is still mining TRTL.

At this stage it makes no sense to mine TRTL. Won't cover the costs if you can't even get a Satoshi per coin. If you wanna accumulate them, that's fine, just buy a few millions and put them aside.

Your motivations is very pretty good for the one who has passion in mining. Instead of mining the coin that already have hard diff, the miner should looking for the potential coins that still easy to be getting. Can you please explaine and give a reason why you want mining turtlecoin? What makes it different and potential to be bright future?
