all of Karpeles' butt buddies have gone silent.

where's Bitcoin Jesus and The Disciples of Magical Fux?

He openly stated that he wouldn't recommend buying BTC from Gox anymore. Roger Ver is my friend's brother in law.

"Roger Ver, who declared last July he had looked at Mt. Gox’s books and determined they were indeed still solvent
I never said this.
I already contacted coindesk asking them to fix their article.

Feel free to watch the video again:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UP1YsMlrfF0

I said that the fiat withdrawal delays were not being caused by a lack of money in the bank.
That is very different from saying that they are solvent.
If I had to guess,  I do think they are solvent, just horribly mismanaged.

Hey Jesus, how that explain their BTC insolvency? No one cares about the fiat money at this point. People are concerned with the miraculous BTC you had been preaching off.

I truly love Roger Ver and it would hurt me inside to later learn that he's somehow tied up in that Mt Got fiasco. <I realize that I am quoting RV>

I care about the $5k fiat wire they agreed to send me.  It's was mostly just a test transaction as even back 6 months ago when I requested it as I had hedged against failure to perform, but I don't like getting smoked by anyone for any amount of money.

I'll enjoy seeing Karpeles suffer.  Not because of my monetary loss so much but more because of how his organization engineered the theft.  That is, by being misleading about their abilities and about general expectations.

Last summer was when I got noticeably concerned about Mt. Gox's ability to function.  I took half of the BTC I had parked there off to greener pastures, and converted half to fiat and requested the wire.  My feeling was that it would be more practicable to leverage the mainstream legal systems to make a claim against a fiat loss if it came to that.

Sorry tvbcof, I was just trolling the Bitcoin Jesus.

 Cheesy

I am sure there is plenty of people still waiting get their fiat money out of the sinking ship.

Yes, you move was very good. The whole global financial structure is more apt to recover USD rather BTC from whatever is found in the sinking ship.

They weren't Gox fanboys...they stated the facts at the time and things have changed and I don't see any of them recommending that you send funds to Gox.
