It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

since now everyone is waiting for the drop i think it is safe to say that $5500 will occur and price will probably go even lower. you see before price may not have gone that low because people were still denying the manipulation but as they start believing in it they stay out and wait for the bottom to happen and even root for it. so it is more likely to happen now.
there still is no logical explanation for the drop though.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Noone can know the correct answer to this. It may reach 5500, it may never go there ever again, it may reach 20k and drop back to 5500, who knows? We can never know for sure what the btc price can be a day, a week, a month or a year from now. Its all speculation. Prices have always been depended on people and how they react to the market.

However I like the fact that prices went down so much that people started to think "is this a good time to buy all-in" which always means good things for btc. Whenever that happens some people started to get in which starts a friction that turns into flames that turned into lava soon followed. I feel confident that we are seeing last dips of btc and all crypto markets and only upside from now on.

Will BTC touch $5500 or rebound b4 then?
I'm still not yet comfy with the current jump that bitcoin showed earlier. But I don't want to be pessimistic either so I'll say that bitcoin won't touch $5,500 until we don't see it move back to $5,700.

People here have different opinions on this matter and others those to remain silent as if we don't have an accurate speculations but we all want (do we?) bitcoin to move back to $10,000.

there still is no logical explanation for the drop though.
CME is one.

It didn't touch $5500 and now the price is above $6400 in Preev.com

We need to stop these kind of predictions because this is one of the reason for the price fall in the crypto currency market,we need to be a long term holder to make more profits then we no need to worry about these short bumps and dumps.

Current lows are $5774.7 in Bitstamp, $5755 in Bitfinex, and I haven't checked on the rest of exchanges but it seems it should be pretty even. For some reason bitcoinwisdom is still showing BTC-e and OkCoin which have been dead for years now. Who is the idiot managing that website? Can't he just add Kraken and another exchange so we can more have active markets? Someone tell him to update his damn website.

Well it rebounded after hitting $5,600 it didn't drop to $5,500 ,and i hope this would be the last lowest fall of the price,as more are being frustrated from the EXPERTS predictions that we will recover in june and now last day of june yet theres nothing good to see

Oh my gosh most certainly the price will touch 5500 again, it would be insane to think otherwise.

The bearish market was actually heading towards that rate since the beginning of this week but since morning there was a change of directions and that is what really matters.  The leap bitcoin makes this morning is a change of direction and one can now said now that bitcoin is now in the bullish conditions.

it could happen even lower than that because the year 2018 is a heavily heavy year for bitcoin and in addition is currently ongoing world cup because it's a lot of people who sell their assets in the world crypto to switch to the world cup

Today prices have risen to $ 6400 and are falling a bit. I do not think the price will drop to $ 5800 again. The market is gradually recovering. We should wait for bitcoin to rise to $ 9000 in July

The price is in the hands of people who can bat it pretty much where they want to. There isn't a wave of FOMO zombies to drown them. Any particular price above absolute doom is eminently achievable.

Currently sitting at close to $6300, I think a better question to ask yourself is will Bitcoin touch $6500?
I have no doubt that we will sink down to $5500 again so I'm in no immediate hurry to purchase at this very moment.

In this long long winter, anything could be the floor, including the "$1,000".
Anyway, remember, "to buy in winter, and to sell in bull".

We saw that bitcoin one day fell below $ 6,000 but we do not know how much it cost the whales. Perhaps such manipulation cost a lot of money and did not bring success so the price quickly returned to 6300 dollars. A few more such attempts and the whales will not be able to keep the prices. We are waiting for 7000 dollars soon.

Maybe some of us still had fears regarding on the past calamities happening on crypto currency industry but guess what it Q3 already and we've seen bitcoins recovers back to $6.3k+ and goes stable and for this maybe this is the sign that a bull run will occur later on this months. Remember bitcoins price predicted to go more higher at this year and year 2018 still far to fade away.
