Do you regret it not selling at peaked on last jan 2018 ?

Exactly, you don't need to listen to others expert opinion. Be your own boss and make the final decision. Sometimes your gut instinct is right, so if you have listen to it during the meteoric rise on 2017, I'm sure that you have loads of money during that time and be laughing cashing it out.

I have not sold my coins during January 2018 and there is a little regret on my part, I listened too much to people that bitcoin will come back and will break another ATH but it didn't and until now, there's still no sign of going up. At that time, I don't really have a lot of BTC, what I have is just altcoins which at that time also are influence by the bull run, it could have been a big money if I sold, but it's alright, time will come again, lets move on.

I wish i can go back when the times my coins already reached thier  high price , i already have big profit by then. And because  i want to get bigger and bigger profit i decided to hodl them which is my biggest mistake.

I think everybody regrets not selling at the ATH. It doesn’t really matter though, this is a regular bitcoin cycle as we’ve seen before. The price will rally again in the next couple of years & see a new ATH at some point.

what peak ? to be honest i didnt saw that coming  .  the price last year was not moving but for god sake i need to sell my btc's because i have a family that i need to feed and the best part was i didnt regret .  i will only regret if i bought btc at ath's and then i still hodl them until today  but yeah the value can soon recover   ,  the only problem is im not a patient person  and i cant wait for how many years in order for the price to fully recovered  .

This is an issue, investors know that they need to hold their coins in order to recover all the money that they have lost but the circumstances in their lives do not allow them to make the right decision and they need to sell even if they know the market will eventually recover, in my opinion that is a horrible thing because that means that you need to go against your desires and against what you know is right just because circumstances demanded it from you.

It can't be helped, it's gone and doesn't need to regret it for too long, I just think luck isn't on my side because I didn't sell when the price was high. I don't need to be pessimistic and I'm still sure that crypto will increase again.

There is no use in regret, especialy not in trading and investing, what is done is done. You have to be prepared for every scenario always. Some felt like they were forced to sell being afraid of even bigger loss but actually that was the matter of everyone's free will and decision. I think that the big problem is that users don't know how to accept the risk and mitigate the consequences.

why would you regret if you already sold your coins at a peak price ? the price did not grow high later that year up until today  . maybe you are referring to the 2017 peak ? but the title says last jan 2018 .

for me , i dont regret selling even if i didnt sell at the exact peak last time  .  i only sell because i badly need the cash for more important occasions  .

I think that is one of those things that even if not everyone admits it we all regret if I had sold my coins at the top and then I used the fiat to buy bitcoin I will have 5 more coins than what I have now, it is incredible but just taking one decision could have changed completely the amount of coins that I am holding so without a doubt I regret not doing that when I had the chance.

I do really regret not buying bitcoin when it was very cheap in 2016 and I also regreted not selling my holding in January 2018. I still remember that bitcoin was above $14,000 in January 2018 and many other coins were doing well.

If you believe in the future and the coin that you are holding you will still have a good chance to make money from such coins as this will still grow much better in coming time and will surpass even 2017 high which took place when it has crossed 18k levels. Hold it for future and you will get much better price than 2017.

Who wouldn't regret missing the peak value of bitcoin. Who have used it at the right time now could've enriched their portfolio. I personally didn't have a thought that the value will fall low in a much shorter time period. By that time I didn't had clear knowledge about cryptocurrency. Now I've learned more about it and will act accordingly in the future.

Ups and down is always there. If you will continue regretting for your mistakes you made in past, you can do nothing.
I think you should make some strategy for the future trade and should study the market and to give full attention to the market.
In fact those people who have strong determination and good decision power they always get benefits from opportunities and never miss such opportunities. I hope still there are too much potential in the market to give you a good profit.

I dont regret anything ive done in cryptocurrency because i always think that its a part of investing in it. I also didnt need the money thats why i can afford to hold it a little more. I see that bitcoin's price is slowly rising now but maybe its just a sudden hump. Its to early to conclude yet.

I sold some btc last January at 13K USD and I regret about it,even though the price crashed to 3K seven months later.I will never do the same mistake and I'm HODLing untill the next big ATH,which means that I might be HODLing my bitcoins for about 2 or 3 years.

There can be no regret, I think many have helped a lot, because they have learned a lot about the market, for example: It helped me a lot to learn to understand the market, I read many books about Wyckoff, he says that the market can be divided into phases as: Accumulation, Bullish Tendency, Distribution, Bearish Trend and then Accumulation, somehow history repeats itself, I have adapted this philosophy to the Bitcoin market, since Wyckoff was a great Speculator of all history, in these moments of knowledge, where it had been captured by the end of 2017 to 2018 had bet Bitcoin downward, because it was in a clear phase of Distribution, this made by ground all technical analysis without basis of OFFER-DEMAND, for that same reason many people bought in 20k thinking that it was going to go up to 50k ... I think that we all have somehow been able to increase our Financial Education in the Cryptocurrency market.

Yes, regret is common with each and every user who missed the opportunity for varied reason. Hope the same pattern happens again supporting the growth of the portfolio which has gone valueless as the market is down to the sands. We should not expect, but need the mind to accept the volatility which marks a growth in long run.
