Israel was set in place in 1948. The U.S. and other countries made it happen. It was done so that there would be strength to fight the joining of the Islamic nations in the Middle East.
Lawrence of Arabia showed the world what the Islamic nations might do if combined. Lawrence, himself, died in a motorcycle accident. More than likely he was shot by an assassin on a "grassy knoll" rather than being in a simple motorcycle accident, and the truth of his death was covered up by the military leaders at the time.
Three things about Israel:
1. It is not the Israel of the former days, the one that was destroyed with the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD;
2. Israel of today has always been a puppet of Jews and others outside of Israel, itself;
3. Simple people who happened to be descendants of ancient Israel, welcome the new Israel,
but don't understand the political roll they have been shoved into.'Burnt offerings 2.0'(tm)?
Here is a unique perspective which I will relate although it is simply in the 'interesting hypothesis' category for me until much further information comes in:
The so-called 'Jews' were supposed to have been 'banished' to Babylon as a punishment in way-back times, but some of them took a liking to it and to the customs of the locals. In the end, more of the current dogma of modern-day Judaism developed in that part of the world than in Judea, and indeed, there have been long-running power and philosophical struggles between the Jews from Babylon and those of Judea (Israel area.)
The Jews today have almost universally adopted the 'Babylonian Talmud.' Why? I suggest flexibility.
The Judea-ish Talmud was boring (in the Christian model.) It was of the style '
Don't rape your daughter. Period.'
The Babylonian Talmud was more of the style '
What would happen if one raped his daughter???' Then there was a ton of discussion about the pros and cons of raping your daughter. Different 'rabbinical scholars' can pick and choose which arguments make sense to them, and a practitioner of Judaism can pick and choose his Rabbi and/or interpretation of the assorted texts. Handy for a guy like Woody Allen to would like to rape his daughter so much that he did so. Or a guy who just entertains the thought as Trump hinted at.
When the Khazars of Central Asia decided to adopt Judaism as the state religion, the Babylonian variant was the most accessible. So, from the start, the Judea variant was a distant fork which were at best a source of lingering hassles. These people were to become the Ashkenazi who formed the State of Israel in the wake of WW-II and dominate it's politics. The 'Sephardi' are considered stupid quasi-goyim and second-class citizens. Mostly useful for blaming problems on.
Is it possible that the Likudnics view Judea as just a stepping stone back to Babylon? Could that be why Iran, and it's destruction, is such a source of interest to them and why they had their vassal state of the U.S. do Iraq first? Would the 'biblical' destruction of Palestine yet again kill two birds with one stone for these folks?
