Hi community!

The question is thus:

Would you rather have Geist's default folders be like

 "\Application Data\Bitcoin\geistdata" ( "~/.bitcoin/geistdata" on linuxes)

or

"\Application Data\geistgeld\geistdata" ( "~/.geistgeld/geistdata" on linuxes) ?

(I'm renaming the testnet folder in any case, tho worry not, the wallet hiden within will be easily copied over into the new folder. Also default config will be now geist.conf)

I have been receiving mixed feedback and decided to invoke democracy Smiley

I moved it to .../.gg/ before I even ran it the first time (and also ran it under a separate low security account)
No chance in hell am I gonna trust some other coin to go anywhere near my .bitcoin folder
As I already said before, you didn't bother to do 5 minutes worth of effort to rename the 'bitcoin' text/names and files ...
(which I did to mine before running it)

What do you want, I am a humble and absent-minded graphic designer with a penchant for cryptocoin shenanigans, not a Programmer with a capital P lol Smiley

It drives me absolutely nuts when *coins keep using the bitcoin directory and/or files.

Hopefully after all the changes, the GG coins which I religiously mine everything now about 500 of them won't "Gone with the Wind" Smiley
