Blockchain is very important in our digital world and crypto currency as its product with bitcoin will also play a vital rule in the future, I believe that bitcoin will always keep on moving even how many years from now because people find how helpful it is.

yes,  i strongly suspect that altcoins as well as other cryptos can still last for the next five years  knowing that majority of them are still continue to develop and got a lot of real time suport from the large companies .

but lets accept the fact that not all alts will remain alive because some of them arent really useful . those type of alts can slowly decay over time as soon as bounty hunters and hodlers of those coins willl start to dispose them .

This depends on the technology, the pace of growth and the project behind the altcoin in question. Altcoin like ETH is great in nature and has been in a kind of contest with Bitcoin months ago. The value is down right now but this is something for the time being only. There are coins like LTC, NEO and ripple which are also preferred for some short term investments and are included in the portfolios to make it diversified so I do not think that altcoin which are on the top charts may fade away.

I think that for most altcoins this will be the last bull market and then they will die. 90% of altcoins are garbage and are created only to enrich their owners. Holding a lot of altcoins is not a wise decision mate. Because lots of altcoins are dying and they will not recover! Many Altcoins are scamming or no update at all! Though Altcoin will last for the next 5 years but not every altcoin! You need to hold good altcoins like the top 100 coins according to coinmarketcap ranks for a long time, and sell low volume and inactive altcoin and turn them into Ethereum!

I think altcoin will tend to be new and change a lot in the next 5 years. Too many altcoin really do not promote the available gadgets on the market. We have this high market caps in the market and the list of the top coins in the market has great projects as well which I think will witness growth in future. However nothing will change until these countries and its people out there starts recognizing the technologies.

Only with a rising demand, we can have spread in the crypto technology. It looks not so easy in case of the developing countries and might take enough time but anyhow after five years, altcoins would have covered a big journey.
