Hey everybody... I have a question about bitcoin.de Smiley

On their FAQ page it says that Bitcoins can be traded only for EUR, but on the homepage there is both the current Bitcoin price in EUR and USD (different) and there is also a "Latest trade deals USD" list.
Also in my account settings I can only choose EUR as currency... so what is the USD price for? And those USD trade deals?

From their FAQ:

Quote
With which currencies are Bitcoins traded?

Momentarily, Bitcoins can be traded for Euros (EUR). We will try to push the trade forward with other currencies as quickly as possible.

I guess they just exchange the EUR rate to USD to make it easier for everyone. Wink

Yes, read my first post, I read their FAQ too; however the USD price is different (and sometimes even very low compared to the EUR price and other markets price) so it can't be that is just the eur rate converted to usd!

Whoops, I must have mis-read that! From looking at the price though, the USD price seems awfully similar to Mtgox's. Perhaps they are using Mtgox for their USD price?
