So I started mining solo with viabtc and hoping to find a block with my antminer I figured I would give solo a go for a month or so and wondering what my chances are.  I feel like the deck is a bit rigged lately seeing all the solved blocks going to one person on viabtc seems a bit unfair the stats to me.  Any way seems rather greedy what are my chances?  Am I going to waste my resources for 1 month?  Any help?

Here is the node I am mining to:

qz3s8zdxwd7njkx4pgug84vgeltherjywsxes4kwp5      (NEW)
1FrwP5AWWW9ftS1o4hybUoYc4u8MJVS5Dz            (Legacy)

Anyone want to help me mine so I can get my project www.comoxvalleylawncare.com going and some new blood?

What makes it unfair?  Huh
Do you have the same Hashing speed with the person who's always solving blocks?

Which machine are you using? How much your total Hashing speed?

Actually, I felt a bit confuse with all of your questions, maybe you need to describe more about the issue you were facing.  Cheesy

Solo mining is impossible now. You will waste time and get a loss when paying for electricity. I don't believe there's anyone willing to join you. Find the block yourself it looks attractive but in reality your chances are incredibly small. I'm sure you'll be joining the pool in a month. And maybe even faster.

For major coins may yes. But for small coins (new nor old coins), solo mining is possible, sometimes I can do that (solo mining) several times a day with a few different coins, in another time I can do it 2-3 times a month.

Of course, we need to calculate all of the variables first before doing that. I can say for sure, Solo Mining is possible.  Wink
