Recently I began trying to run my mining rig of a Asus 290 on ubuntu. However, powertune doesn't seem to be able to be set with ubuntu as my card is still throttling the gpu even with powertune "set" at 20. Ive spent a good deal of time researching and am finding very little current information on this. While I'm only loosing about 5% hashrate due to this, that is 5% that I would prefer to have.

Has anyone had any success with powertune setting on linux?

Currently running ubuntu 13.10 with the latest AMD drivers (tried standard and beta)
